my thought exactly .i'm 5' 9 and 3/4" and i work with a 20-year-old guy who swears that he's 5' 9", but in reality, he's at least 4 inches smaller than i am. men lie about their height the way women lie about their weight .

i'm not saying i know everyone's intimate desires and all that blahblahblah, but i have been on this board long enough to know people's general preferences and that there is a lot of pure complimenting on this thread. maybe mystify has a point here, as well .i'm not saying there's anything wrong with the cp ladies giving each other props, i'm just saying that that's what seems to be happening here .

and i always wanted to ask you what your screenname means in person .

although being thorough is always best, if cleaning up for company or trying to show a roommate that you really do a good job around the house, one ought to clean up the most highly visible areas first . case-in-point: i spent over three hours doing the bathroom from top to bottom, including getting rid of mildew in the grout in the shower and around the toilet (which is NOT easy!!!), and all that my roommate - who claims that i never clean - noticed was that the sink was cleaner . tune in tomorrow.

i like music that covers too many genres for me to list and even understand. i don't know the names of the ones i hear; for instance, if i'm listening to some kind of house, i can't tell you what kind of house it's called. i can classify all other types of music except for what i hear in clubs .

i'm still waiting for that scardeycat bystander, gabo, to show his face (or any other body part that belongs to him - no more talktalktalk without the walkwalkwalk!!!) !

i take both, too, against my dermatologist's recommendations. she says that no one should take both; it's just murder on the skin.

i sleep with a zebra named "revolution," after a street in tijuana where people paint horses to look like zebras so that tourists will pay to take pictures of 'em. when i sleep over at my friend's house, he sometimes confuses me for his ex in his sleep (his ex and he are still really good friends and he still comes over sometimes) and gets all cuddly with me. my friend's a really heavy sleeper and i'm sure he doesn't know what he's doing at the time, but it's weird; i don't feel like a guy even when spooning... couldn't someone tell the difference (i've at least got more junk in the trunk)? he always wakes up first and is watching tv in the other room when i get up (i don't wake up easily in the morning although i wake up easily on and off throughout the night); i always wonder what position we're in when he wakes up . we've never talked about any of it .

that sucks, and it's not only inappropriate and hurtful, but i know how it can make for a really uncomfortable (at the least) workplace. i'm sorry to hear that . i just want to add, though, that there's no such thing as "reverse" discrimination. discrimination can be aimed towards anyone, and all should be referred to as the same thing, regardless of who the usual receivers may be.

i finally figured out the techy stuff. mine's not all that scandalous, either, but it's what you're gonna get !

it's a good idea to ease into dancing on the dancefloor. you'll have more staying power throughout the night and be less likely to cramp up. and one shouldn't attempt to dance all the way from beginning to end; being all danced out when the music's really good sucks . so take it easy to last all night ! tune in tomorrow.

a day late with the wisdom; i didn't get a chance to get to my comp. yesterday ... but i learned this last night, so i figure this counts as yesterday's column : when going out for a night of dancing to crazy, frenetic, jump-inducing trance, cut your toenails first! otherwise, by the end of the night your toes will hurt or you may have a shoe that doesn't look as nice as it did before. it also helps if you buy shoes that fit better . my feet feel like i was dancing on pointe last night . sorry if this was kind of a sketchy one , but people who jump around a lot either know what i mean or can imagine . tune in tomorrow.
