ok, let's make a list of why we all didn't go : 1. watching northeasterners sunburn themselves in an effort to get tan in the winter is funny, but a little sad, at the same time. don't need that. 2. i see enough palm trees, thank you very much . 3. airport security going through everything i bring with me from place to place makes me feel a bit unwuved . (and don't inspect my chocolate, you bastards !!!) and finally, too many great djs in one convenient location in a short span of time is simply too easy. I require a challenge .

when i was very, very, little, i'm told i loved chutes and ladders and candyland the most. do you guys remember that both of those were random games, all about luck of the draw? these games drove my parents so nuts that my dad ended up hiding them from me . i then moved up to sorry!. now i'll play pretty much anything .

ok...well, i personally feel that shakira's a midget, mya's eyes are each as big as her mouth (and that's frighteningly big), and aaliyah (r.i.p.) was a dog. jessica simpson looks like an alien horse. pink is straight-up busted, janet jackson is one step behind her brother in line at the plastic surgeon's office. gwen stefani spends way too much time making herself look as ugly as possible, when there actually is an attractive girl under there (or maybe just used to be). i'm with you on the rest, mostly, and definitely on britney .

here's a tip: those tanks (camisole-type) with the built-in shelf bras are sooooo great to sleep in!!! i used to even sleep in bras, but these are really comfy and supportive .

i don't have many; i didn't take many pictures that night and i only got one of cubbie78 to begin with. i'm in that picture too, and i'm far too shallow to put a picture up of me looking that horrendous . i'll shift a little blame and say cubbie wouldn't want it up, either . but i did get a couple of danny that i really liked . they're just very lucky shots; i held the camera over my head and made sure to take them when he wasn't looking forward, so i didn't blind him. i also took 'em on the dl, 'cause cameras were only semi-allowed . and i think these are especially good, from a disposable . here's danny, doing his thing: and here he is, making a boo-boo:

i have a friend who turns into a litterbug when he gets drunk. all of a sudden there'll be napkins on the floor, he'll drop whatever wherever. and he does it with a kind of childlike exhuberance, as though when he's drunk, he's free to misbehave in all sorts of little silly ways. once, when we were at a club, he just spit out his gum and stuck it on a railing; i unstuck it almost instinctively and threw it out. i guess that may sound gross, but the thought of other people getting stuck or someone having to clean it up later bugged me. p.s. give a hoot, don't pollute !
