  1. ok, just gotta add that sometimes they don't even disguise this shit with dancing. hello????! someone must put an end to this.
  2. my friend fractured her toe today; i'm on the phone with her right now and i think she's about to tell me we can't go...
  3. well, this is a little off the topic... i'm going to twilo for the first time on friday too, but i'm just writing to tell you that there are meetups at 3 and 6 a.m. at the bar by the coatcheck, so you can meet us there (i'll meet the notorious "us" as well, i guess!)! rock on!
  4. what is UP with freaking, anyway?!? pardon me and color me square, but i personally don't enjoy strangers coming up to me and grinding their erections into me, dry humping me on the dancefloor. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT ABOUT????????
  5. ok, i'm a little confused about this cameltoe thing. i first heard about them and noticed them at all in college, and i thought that they only occured when clueless girls insisted on wearing pants that were too small. i didn't think that these girls actually knew what resulted from this... are you telling me that 1. girls do this on purpose? and 2. guys like this? if yes is the answer to either of these questions, i am both shocked and baffled. i'm asking seriously, though, i'm not trying to dis you guys; people like what they like and that's cool. i just wanna know.
  6. dagnabit!!!!!! this is all because of those damn hacker kids; you know, those youngsters who dress in metallic strappy whatnot and sit around listening to that newfangled techno music!!!!!!!
  7. hey, nolimit, i e-mailed you too; rock on! do we have to get there by a certain time?
  8. color me confused; WHERE ARE ALL THE CRAZY TWILOHEADS? so so far i've got: opening, 1:30, 5 and after that it's just up to me? ah, poor helpless me...
  9. general question: what's the best time to arrive at twilo to get into s&d? i have no idea, i've never been. i keep posting this question in all of the other s&d posts and nobody's been answering, so i've had to start my own. i don't wanna have to wait in line forever, but going too early anywhere can be a bummer, too, and i don't wanna be too burned out by the time the real party starts. so?
  10. yeah, i knew that, too. comes in handy when you're buying socks. [This message has been edited by weyes (edited 01-23-2001).]
  11. bastardino, you're just pissed 'cause pvd recoiled in digust when your sorry self begged to blow his fat cock.
  12. yeah, yeah, do all that clubbing and whatnot, but if wayne newton is there, don't miss him! that guy knows how to fuck shit up!!!!! *yes, i'm speaking from experience; there's nothing quite like a bloody mary and danke schon.
  13. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what time should i get to twilo??!?!?!?!!?!??! a guy i work with (who isn't going with me; doesn't go much anymore) said that the best time to get there is around 2am. but if you guys are having a meetup at 3, i'll never get in by then if i arrive at 2. so, what time should i get to the club?
  14. i'm a nyc native, went to college in l.a. for four years, then came back to new york after graduation. nyc is crushing my spirit; cali made it soar. yes, there's a difference between l.a. and sf, but there's a sharp contrast between california love and new york's coldness, during winter and every other season. 15. this is my first sasha and digweed experience and i'll be at the meetup, 6 at the bar you guys are talking about, if i'm not too worked... hey, by the way, what would be the best time to get to twilo to get in on friday?
  16. ask the doctors to quiet the voices in your head... works like a charm.
  17. i am so sick of the new york times and its articles on popular culture. whether it be art, music, fashion, or just trends in general, the nyt is always incredibly BEHIND the times. stay tuned; i think next week's sunday magazine cover is gonna be all about the new rage that's sweeping the nation - pet rocks. let the times stick to news.
  18. yes, back in the day songs were almost always created by teaming up a lyricist and a composer (rodgers & hart, lerner & loewe, georege & ira gershwin, etc.), but those were also in the days when people rarely even performed their own material . but later on more people starting doing both. i don't think writing good music and fine lyrics have to be mutually exclusive. 19. i'm not so good at remembering the numbers of annual parties and which years were which, but i went to the fantasia at the south jersey expo center and it was beyond dope. i remember my friend driving us home at who knows how late in the morning. i was cold as i was falling asleep, riding shotgun, and asked him to shut the windows. i woke up sometime later to find my window shut, his open, the heat on, and he with his shirt off while i still had my jacket on. but it was warm by then, with the sun bursting "rave over," and, just then, kool and the gang's "celebrate" came on the radio. my friend alex saw i was awake and turned it up. we faced each other, sharing the same smile.
  20. yet another question... what does that "bump" stuff mean, anyway?
  21. ok, kids, a couple of things... i'm really sick of a lot of shit that's being said here. some of you guys are trying to drop knowledge about this topic when you've only read about antidepressants and/or the actual scientific effects of e in "the face" or some silly magazine like that. i'm not going to listen to anything you say until i see that you've actually done more extensive research or that you've got a degree in psychopharmacology. and as for the people who say, "why do the depressed and people with other problems do drugs? are they MORONS?" think about it and use a little common sense. put yourself in these people's' place; if you feel shitty, you'll do anything to feel better, and e makes a lot of people feel like, well, they're in ecstasy. what's hard to understand about that? doing drugs is dangerous, but for them, a night of feeling like they're on top of the world may just be worth it. so quit your condescension. you'd probably do it too.

  23. so neither you nor idisyda is talking about "yellow cks," the pill that was going around a little while ago (i read about it here!) that was so chock full of speed (and perhaps other highly dangerous shit) that it sent lots of people to the hospital? i know you just said that this ck one thing is to be smoked, but is it possible that the two are related?
