  1. Depends what your goals are... personally I've been lifting hard for a little over two years now. The first year, my gains were slim to none since I focused on lifting and not nutrition. Back around a year ago I started drinking a shake in the morning right when I woke up... since your metabolism is usually catabolic when you wake up. Then I would drink another shake between lunch and dinner and finally one last shake post workout. There are other options including skipping the shake between lunch and dinner and having a cassein (as opposed to Whey) protein shake before you go to sleep. To make a long story short, I have been making gains like crazy since and my strength has exploded too. I was a fool and tried doing a low carb diet to have a "clean" low fat bulk cycle... but I realized that was a problem too - so I now drink half a carb drink (approx 50g) before walking into the gym. EDIT: Shit Havok I forgot to answer your question. On off days I tend to lower the protein consumption to one shake a day, sometimes no shake. Personally I feel like I need to give my stomach a break sometimes... not that it bothers me or anything. I am satisfied with my gains, but everyone is different. Put yourself on a program for a month and track your results... they you can change it if things aren't working properly. Just note adding muscle doesn't occur overnight - expect to be patient, but also switch your routine frequently so that you don't plateau easily. Physically I am the strongest ever and some best are: 14 - (45 plates) on the leg press/hip sled (several reps) * Note I never worked out legs until just this year and I weigh just under 190. My squat is over 400lbs as well (roughly 410/415) 3 - (25 plates) doing dips for 10 reps I have my increased in size and strength due to nutrition. Obviously your stomach might and might not be able to handle 3 shakes after a while. Personally I took a break after a couple months since I got sick of the taste. I am just getting back this week to doing two shakes a day, but I eat plenty of high protein food (beef/chicken) to reduce the need for supplementation. For me 1g protein per pound of bodyweight has been suffice and I don't have great genetics... everything I have was from hard work.
  2. And to think those bastards down in Arizona wanted Hudson or Zito, plus money, plus Vasquez, plus others. Apparently there are other drugs prevalent in MLB since they must be on crack.
  3. You should have let her come over and fucked her brains out... Did I miss something? Do you have a restraining order against her?
  4. If I'm drinking 2 scoops (roughly 46 grams of protein) three times a day (breakfast, during the day and post workout) it would last me around a month. Figure that it can make 75 (46g shakes) in total. So if you drink one daily postworkout - it can last three months if you take into account days off, etc.
  5. Havok - just question yourself on whether you want to buy it at a local GNC for around $40 for five pounds... or $46 for ten pounds over the net. As long as you keep it sealed it shouldn't go bad for a number of months.
  6. I used to think GNC had the good stuff until two years ago. Fact is they are overpriced and quality is decent. Just check out www.allsportsnutrition.com. Depends on what kind of protein you are looking for. I personally take whey after workouts and they have the best prices on Optimum Nutritions 100% Whey Protein... its the best bang for the buck in my opinion... 10lb bag for under $50 I believe.
  7. Get off my dick guidette... I really wondered why people were being immature and picking on your sorry ass... but now I realized why... cause you are a cunt. Fuck off and slit your throat. No need in trying to bring other people down to your level of miserableness... grow up kid.
  8. I wonder if they did anal...
  9. Because you are not going to be there...
  10. Don't waste your time. Went to Stilletos once and finally cracked after the same whores came around like 20 times each... I succumbed to pressure... needless to say I couldn't get aroused since there was like 10 other guys in the "lap dance room" getting dances... I was like - this is gross. Funnier experience was in Arizona where the girls wear clear pasties and come up to you with a purse... was wondering what was in the purse until I went for a dance and she pulled out a bottle of lotion... gross... In Texas (just outside of Arlington), I once saw some Spanish dude walk up to the dance floor/stage while this chick was on all fours... he had been tipping her for a while ($1's from what I could see). Anyway - all of a sudden he puts his face forward and she backs her ass up into his face and his face was sandwiched between her cheeks for at least 30 solid seconds. I burst out laughing... Damn I miss traveling at my old job
  11. Anyone have a list for Saturday nights? Thinking about going there for a friend's bday with at least 10 heads. Thanks.
  12. People are so gullible on this board... Anyone who is taking this guy seriously or thinks his threats are valid... I have a paper rock that I would like to sell you for $100k. Btw - he is the same guy from b4.
  13. I'm trying to defend your black man... Hank Aaron. Black on black crimes need to stop and Bonds is robbing him of his homerun record.
  14. Well said. Jon - Is Bonds a great player? Yes Is he a Hall of Famer? Yes Do I discount his numbers (Specifically speaking - HR's and Walks) because of his steroid use? I most certainly do. I liked the guy back when he was in Pittsburgh and even more in San Francisco, but I hate it when records (THAT WERE NEVER MEANT TO BE BROKEN) are going to start going down because of people that can't play fair. It's a disgrace to the guys who worked hard and trully deserve to have their name at the top of list. (Aaron and Maris). Believe me - I don't hold McGuire in high regard either...
  15. Ahhhh - won't work... just check out my f*en avatar...
  16. Managers never "managed" against Bonds in the 80's or 90's... coincidentally they have been doing it in the very late 90's and well into the 2000's. Coincidentally the same time he's been juicing.
  17. Since the summer? I've added roughly 17lbs so far and I'm shooting for another 10lbs of good weight (low fat) by the end of January/February. At this time, I am the heaviest I have ever been.
  18. Ummmn - wouldn't that be the Blair Witch Project???
  19. I didn't know tongues came in soft versus firm versions...
  20. I don't think there was any question about her being hot. Even with her clothes on she was smoking. I guess the question is that "do you have to whore yourself out in order for your car to get worked on Pimp my Ride?" I see Xhibit there in that photo shoot... I'd bet a pretty penny he tapped that groupies ass.
  21. Decent trades since Herredia wasn't good when we needed him and we are going to pick up some center fielder so we don't need Lofton. I wouldn't expect some of these players to stick around though - some could be used a bait for other deals or for upgrades... who knows. I won't get excited about any trades until the season begins.
  22. Ruth for Christ's sake - there should never even be a comparison. The guy was a natural (no pun on the steroids) who carried a big stick and swatted balls with grace. Players now-a-days not only have performance enhancing drugs, but they also have training facilities, personal trainers, supplements, healthy lifestyles, etc..... things that were available during Ruth's day and age. We won't even think about the stress's of travel back in the day compared to the stress free travel players have now. Baseball in today's age is a luxury compared to the early lifestyle. You are comparing a guy who probably has significantly more at bats and games played than Ruth. No comparison. -----> Babe Ruth
  23. Please don't tell me that you are that naive. The average male's body begins to produce less testosterone when you hit your late 20's. Barry starting getting huge in his early 30's. No way in hell with all the nutrition that you get can you put on that much body size with protein. Also playing baseball everyday does not allow you to be in the gym regularly during the season, otherwise it will affect your swing. As such, this means that with significantly lower levels of testosterone and roughly a 5-6 month training window each year, he put on tons of mass. Just ain't gonna happen... Giambi went to Balco = steroids Bonds went to Balco = steroids
