On Saturday I checked out Sullivan Room for the first time to see Porter...definitely a really good time. Very chill, nice crowd and good music. On Sunday I decided to go completely the opposite way and experience Tempts, which definitely lived up to its reputation: jersey guidos and guidettes everywhere, packed and KTU-style music. In fact KTU was actually broadcasting live, lol. For most people on here it probably would have been hell, but I had a lot of fun. Drove back from Seaside Saturday morning and chilled out then watched the fireworks from my roof Overall a great weekend but WAY too fast!

Does anyone ever get text messages from Crobar promoters? I don't even know how they got my phone number, and they send me 2 or 3 texts for every event! It's kind of good for me b/c I suck at checking my e-mail, but it's really annoying getting more than one. Anyone know anything about this?

Dan- I think that definitely was JP (disguised as a dirtball, hehe) that night we were there, I just didn't know if he was there this past weekend.

Kerry all the way...I really hope that those of you who say you are not voting or voting for Nader are joking. In an ideal world, Nader's policies would be great, but they would NEVER work in this country. If Bush wasn't completely screwing up EVERYTHING, I could see why maybe you would vote for Nader to make a statement, but there is way too much at stake to throw your vote down the drain. As for Bush, unless you make more than $200,000 there is no reason you should vote for him.
