  1. not at all, just print out what you need for the day and go do it. thats what i'm doing and i'm not using a PT. I just make a small printout that lists each exercise , the reps and a check box. when i get done i check it off and move onto the next one. then i can keep track of what i do, the weight, etc. have to put some time and effort into it
  2. http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/003054.htm ? Could be a ton of things apparently from minor to serious... hope its something simple like acid reflux or something...
  3. read this workout and see if it'll give u what u want http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/bulking%20to%20the%20next%20levlel.php
  4. from the guys I know that have had these..this is about as close pain wise to natural child birth any male will ever see. pissing sharp calcium rocks out sounds as fun as walking on broken glass... I hope i never get those...
  5. my 2 cents.. What are you planning to accomplish? Do you want to get buff..get lean..or get strong? or all of them? What is your body like now...what are your goals. For me: I want to lose body fat and get lean muscle...then when i get to the BF % I am planning for, I will strenghten up. I want to be STRONG, but not look freakishly huge. I want SUPER DENSE muscle fibers, but still look lean(ish). For this (and for my body) I personally am doing high rep, medium weight at the moment...im talking 12-10-8 and a few to static failure.. or something similar... When I get to the lower BF % i will switch to a powerlifting regime which is totally different because I will cycle between strength and growth. I also only work a muscle once a week. This is what I am doing, the only changes is anything that involves a machine (cable work) I am subbing with appropiate free weight stuff and I'm on week 3. and fuck my body is lovin it..i'm seeing big changes. http://www.abcbodybuilding.com/13weekfatburningworkout.php It all depends on your overall goals...
  6. ive never used gloves..i figure a little roughness on the hands wont kill me. I was able to deadlift 300lbs last week w/o gloves or straps so i should be good for a bit..altho the only way i could get that rep was over\under sumo style..but i cleared it..once lol
  7. 390 grams for me... d'oh i bet i dont get half that....
  8. http://www.drcheski.com/procedures/calves/calves.htm i dont see enuf difference to warrent the cost myself. (shrugs)
  9. i only drink water, not as much as i should im sure but i try. IMO drinking carbonated anything is counter productive as it dehydrates you more then if you drank straight water. I know water is plain...but that doesnt bother me. I will make koolaide with splenda or drink teas if i get bored with it. I'll have a soda a month (usually mtn dew) but everytime i do it makes me feel ill..kinda like every few months i have to hit Mc Donalds for their breakfast stuff to remind me why i cant eat it lol edit: I meant to add to above about soda.. that caffeine is a diuretic and will actually dehydrate you
  10. Saw one of those "nip-n-tuck" surgery shows on cable once where a guy just couldnt get his calves to bulk up at all...he was in great shape but his calves looked like a little kids..so he had calve implants put in. they looked good in the end but jeez..
  11. i'd rather do the free crunches and run up and down my stairs and around my house long before i give my money to those fucktards
  12. its been raining non stop here in the afternoons so my runs have now turned into me racing home from work to change into running gear and head out hoping to beat the rain which results in me coming home soaked to the bone. its oddly refreshing though...and man do i get the weird looks lol
  13. found this info online... just more opinions really http://ipaki.com/content/html/37/190.html (2 pages worth) http://healthfitness.com.au/diet/nutrition/protein-proteins.htm http://www.bodiesofstone.homestead.com/fitnessnews.html Tis all just information..take from it what you want.
  14. youll never see your abs until you lose body fat...period. IMO proper diet and exercise is the best way to acheive that. Once you lower your BF then u can concentrate on the ab's. And the people that have the 6-8 pack abs you see are at in insane low body fat %.
  15. 1993 Was a rave called Eden 2 - Josh Wink and Keoki First time I heard house was a year or 2 before that when I got a mix tape from my bro of some euro\german house. Someone mentioned Gonzo... we had him and Tommy Tunes out here years ago for some parties. Those are some awesome guys and dj's. They still around?
  16. i always use Zout.. stain cleaner found in the store. I've even used it to get old oil\grease stains outta clothes. I put it on and let it sit for 10-15min ..then use my fingernail and scratch it in real good and wash. its always taken it out for me. i was changing the oil on my car once and spilled about a 1/2 qt of black, dirty motor oil on my shirt and jeans and figured the shit was ruined..got it all out with Zout and 1 wash.
  17. actually to much water will kill you. drinking too much water can cause a potentially fatal condition called hyponatremia, in which salt levels in the body are diluted by the excess water and fall to dangerously low levels, threatening vital bodily functions. Basically your body has a delicate balance of minerals and to much water thins that out to much and u can die from it. I saw some stories on this about the people that hike the Grand Canyon have died from it because they dont bring along any salty snacks or gatoraide type drinks..just plain water. its really extremely rare from what ive read.. but can definitly happen http://www.honoluluclub.com/pulse.php?ID=31 edit: for shitty spelling
  18. lol nooo... feelin ill in the stomach. Like when you eat something and your body is all "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS" lol i havent had soda in like...8 months.. ugh..
  19. its all about the omega3 fatty acids. I DONT eat fish in my diet..so figured id add this because of it. those multi's are good. i dont know anything about womans diets\needs but i would think women should take a calcium supplement unless they drink loads of milk (which i personally think is liquid fat with a little calcium in it). u might wannt hit up the doc and chat with a nutrionalist to get some ideas fit for your body instead of the general 'whats good for a woman' info
  20. speakin of mtn dew..just had my 1st one in months... now i feel ill lol
  21. there is this path around a green belt (water shed area in the suburbs) where i run. I believe one lap is about a mile or so.. so i run 4 laps of that daily. If i run to the gym by my house its 1.25 miles there, workout and 1.25 back. Did that shit last night in the cold rain...ugh. I also have a roadside path that goes for 10+ miles that ill usually do 2.5 miles out and 2.5 back on the weekends. I hate the treadmill...feel to much like a gerbil on a wheel.
  22. mmm that would be awesome... need to find that stuff
  23. there was this great report on 20/20,Dateline NBC (not sure what show it was on) last week about the big surge of people going over seas to get 5 star medical treatments for something like 1/8 the cost in the US. They design the hosp there like hotels and apparently all the people that tend to you are registered Nurses, you get a private room in most cases, etc etc. They tend to group a vacation after the procedure to rest. One example was a lady who got some hip surgery done from a world leading doctor for like $8500 for the operation, travel and vacation.. and it woulda cost over $50k in the states just for the surgery... and all the people they showed were ones without insurance or wanting something their coverage wouldnt permit...some crazy shit. When you have to pay $20 for an aspirin and $100 for a box of tissues at a US hospital u know shit is wacked
