it is an old public school with an enormous courtyard that MoMA (museum of modern art) took over. the building i filled with experimental artwork (some if it is good). on saturday's they have what they call Saturday Warmup: 6 bucks to enter $1 water $3.50 for beer they have food but mostly there are just a lot of very relaxed people hanging out listening to beats. they usually have 3 - 5 dj's. the music is good, but the vibe is awesome. def check it out. doors open at noon music starts at 3 ends at 9pm

yes, that sounds good too. the tomatoes and basil are starting to roll in from the garden. unless i actually find a job, i plan to spend lots of time tending, picking, and eating them.

hey, if u don't like the heat stay someplace cooler we all know which people are constantly involved in public drama. we all know who we know more about than we want to. just stay away and keep your mouth shut about things u don't want others knowing about. keep u'r secrets to yourself, and your personal info and your pasts in u'r hehad if you don't want them discussed. act in public in a way that doesn't cause gossip and drama if you don't want it. if you do create drama in public, expect it on the boards. i've yet to understand why anyone is ever surprised when something they do publicly shows up in this forum. (oh, please feel free to discuss me as much as you like)

um...why would you be worried about what lurkers and the world sees here? how is it tied to you personally? i have never seen anyones full name, address, etc. posted here. my coworkers (if i had any) could read this every day and never know that its me. the only people who know who "we" are are those of us that have met. so unless you're worried about what we think about you, than who gives a shit what gets posted or aired here? in fact, i'll bet that all the drama we create not only has entertainment value for our adoring public, but people can probably identify with lots of the shit we all have going on and maybe take something minor away from this (like a great insult to throw in someone's face) of course i'm working on some new software for companies doing reference checks that ferets out everyone's screen names and retrieves every post they've ever made on any anonymous public forum....hoke u better run and hide

ahem...well...i can understand how some people don't like the books that much. the writing style is OLD SKoool!!! My grandad literally taught me to read using a big old hard cover version of the hobbit and i read all the other stuff before i was eight. while they aren't for everyone, they are some of the best and most important books (from a literary standpoint) this century. no one, including Jordan, Feist, etc. has created so complete of an alternate world with history, language, etc. as Tolkien. i think that MiddleEarth really existed in his mind...like he could wander around in it and stuff. anyways, point is, he was the very first of the popularly accepted epic fantasists, and without these books, we probably wouldn't even have a Fantasy section in the book store. personally, i loved the movie, but enjoy the books more. there is very little character development in the books, and things happen with out the depth of understanding and motivation that the books provide. but, they did a marvelous job recreeating all those settings basically just as i imagined them i don't want to see any previews...just walk into the theater without any fore-knowledge.
