  1. Heads up...

Our boys Oscar G & Ralph Falcon also known as Murk will be on No Cover TV (on Mun2) tonite along with Bad Boy Bill, Dannii Minogue & Chris Cox. The show airs tonite (Friday) @ 11:30 pm. Tonite's show will be airing from Nerve.

here's the No Cover site, for more basic info

    www.nocovertv.com

Props to No Cover, one of the 1st nation-wide dance shows, also aired in South America, originating str8 out of our hometown! :aright:

    I'll be watchin'... ;)

  2. I'll use three words to desribe Bill's sound & then you can sum up the rest...

    Funky

    Hard

    Technical

Bill's one of those guys you don't see often here in Miami & if you appreciate the technical side of djing then Bill's a show you don't wanna miss. If you get a chance to sit back & watch him work the decks, he'll leave you in awe. He's lightning quick, precise & very trixie.. in that sense, he reminds me of how hard Stryke & Oscar G work behind the decks!

As for his style, well.. if you enjoy chunky beats & funky grooves on a harder edge, then there's a good chance he'll make you move your arse...

check out BBB's site & familiarize yo self with Bill's sound...

Hey Biz...if you do plan on coming up to NYC, lemme know. I plan hittin' up Crobar for the first time and what can be better than seeing the Murk boys. :D

I looked on Jet Blue & round trip cost is $140. Just need to find a hotel with a decent price in a decent location. There's one across from the Garden @ just under $100 a nite thru january. I forgot the name though...

  9. We all know about Space, Nerve, Crobar, Opium, etc...

but what about those other kick ass lil' venues that go unmentioned most of the year. The cool, coozy venues that some of us don't get the chance to visit every weekend...

Here you go, I'll start the cycle. Places like Jazid, Jade, I/O etc.. Cool lil' places that have personality & potential for a kick ass party..

 So what other places give you that warm fuzzy feeling & make for a cool party atmosphere??

Murk has their 4th #1 single on the Billboard Hot Dance Chart

Miami's own Murk boys, Oscar G andRalph Falcon, have made dance music history with their latest single ‘Believe’ hitting number 1 in the Billboard Hot Dance Chart. This brings their total to 4, breaking the record previously help by Madonna, Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston who have each featured 3 number one singles in a year.

'Believe' has been given the remix treatment by Rosabel, Laidback Luke, Stryke and Superchumbo. The first 12" of the single which includes the Rosabel and Stryke mixes is already out on Tommy Boy records. The second part of the single will includes the Laidback Luke and Superchumbo mixes and will be released in the near future. The Following single 'Time' with vocals by Stryke is to be remixed by Peter Rauhoffer, The Scumfrog, Chab and Southside and will see a release in early 2004.

In more Murk related news the duo will be playing the all new Crobar NYC on January 16th 2004 and Oscar G will be making his return to the UK on December 27th. Oscar was personally invited by Lawler to play at the Christmas Special for Harlem Nights at The End featuring an opening set by Marc Cohen.

Dee, if you read this, toss up a review on OG @ Harlem nights this past Dec. 27th in London (I couldn't find one online). Also, Jan. 16th is a bday of a dear friend of mine up there in NY & with OG & Ralph playin' Crobar NYC, I think I'm bookin' a plane ticket. ;)

  12. You may already have heard of Hernan Cattaneo as Paul Oakenfold's most recent signing, the Argentinean DJ who has been playing with Oakenfold the world over, and as the latest to release a mix-CD on Oakenfold's world-renowned Perfecto label. Or maybe you've heard one of his deep progressive house tracks with twisted tribal beats. If this is your first introduction, be sure to remember the name, as Hernan could be described as the most prestigious Latin American DJ and you will be seeing a lot more of him. In South America Hernan has carried out the single most important role a DJ can possibly fill--spreading the good gospel of dance and inspiration.

    read more @ www.hernancattaneo.com

Check Hernan's show on 95.1 Metro FM www.metro951.com & familiarize yo' self w/ his sound.

  13. FSU can Thank our punter Brian Moore for keeping the game interesting. Brian had 3 punts under 30 yards in the 2nd half!

That's what kept the game interesting in the 2nd half. If we had a decent punter & if Brock wouldn't of turned it over 2x (a pick & a fumble), it would of been a different game.

Outside of that we owned the Noles running game & Rix looked more like "Trix" (the cereal I used to eat for breakfast when I was a kid)...

Big FU to the noles hecklers sittin' behind me @ the game!

    GO CANES! :aright:
