aright, i feel like a 14 year old actually posting this but anyhow. there is this cute boy at school who i think is really nice and sweet and really really yummy. He's in one of my classes and we spoke a few times and he seems really nice. I want to approach him and ask him out to dinner but just don't know what the best way would be.. ( i think he's a bit younger than me and hasn't really gotten into the whole dating scence, he's still stuck in the "if you kiss a girl then she's your girlfriend type of thing") i was thinking of just being direct about the whole thing but then a friend made me feel kinda stupid for even wanting to ask because I was the girl.. I'm kind of running against the clock here because there is only 2 weeks of class left so i gotta get moving on asking him otherwise we prolly wouldn't seen each other again.. any advice? :grin:

i've seen some tanning disasters thanks to self tanner. I'd say hit a tanning bed instead of using the lotion.. They tend to go orangy instead of brown..

i know exactly where you're comming from. Sometimes I hit these plateaus where I just can't see myself progressing. I catch myself doing the same old things, meeting the same type of people, and getting caught up in the same relationships. Motivation is something that comes and goes so don't get down about that. We can't be motivated 100% of the time because we just don't have the energy to keep pushing ahead. the way i see it is we push forward until we are satisfied with where we are. It may be a job, a relationship or any situation for that matter. We then slope downwards while enjoying this new found success and then land in a plateau that slowly makes everything boring and routine again. Motivation comes again when we decide to take control of our lives and go after what it is that makes us happiest. Motivation and drive come in different forms and they differ in intensity.. Maybe right now you're in a slump but guaranteed one day you'll wake up with something in mind that you just can't help but be inclined to strive over. don't get down, just enjoy whats going on in your life right now because just like life goes on it also changes and before you know it you'll be pushing yourself into something new and exciting with tons of drive.

i'd never approach a guy whether i knew him or didn't and tell him i wanted to sleep with him and as for a guy approaching me.. i probably wouldn't say anything mean i'd just probably say no thanks and walk away.. afterall it takes balls for a guy to walk upto you and tell you that straight up. iMO
