I know plenty of urban teachers. Many members of my family are currently employed by the NYC Public School system. I am fully aware of how difficult it is to be a teacher. It is frustrating work and you can easily become jaded. But thats something you have to deal with as a student. Everyone has suffered through a handful of careless teachers, but you get out what you put in. It's not an excuse to sell drugs. I know I didn't grow up the way these people did, so I'm not going to chastize them for the ways they made ends meet. Just don't expect me to give a shit if they get locked up or shot in the process. I'm sorry for her loss, but Voletta Wallace labeling her son a martyr is nonsense.

I think this rally is a lot of bullshit. These artists that get played are the artists with the widest appeal. The more listeners, the more advertising dollars. People like Non-Phixion don't get any burn as say, Fat Joe, because they don't appeal to as many people. You want more airplay? Create something more suitable for the mainstream. Just look at the Black Eyed Peas. I also don't see the racism. You can't attribute any of these points to Star b/c he makes fun of everyone and can hardly be labeled a racist. Black, white, Asian, Puerto Ricans. It's all a part of his gimmick, and if you take offense to it then you just don't get his humor. Miss Jones on the other hand, I hope she gets the boot only because I feel like she cries racism every other day. To tell you the truth, none of this really bothers me. It's human nature to be interested in conflicts between people, especially well-known people. I like when rappers make fun of each other, it makes me laugh. And I don't care if someone gets shot, it has nothing to do with me.
