Well, I couldn't really see if he was laboring, hanging pitches, etc, since I'm stuck in the 1920's lol but I'm curious as to why Cox slept on that. I'm surprised they don't have him at some kind of 6 inning, 100 pitch cutoff, at least for the time being.

If that's your opinion... If anything, I think he extended his career a few years. Even though he didn't have as much rest and maybe he threw a little bit harder, how many times do you think he threw over 20 pitches? And it obviously worked for the Braves, Smoltz was lights out for the most part, and the Braves kept winning. That's why Cox and Mazzone are the best at what they do IMO.

He's as dominant as he ever was. He just needs to get back into conserving his energy like he used to. The NL East will be VERY exciting this year I promise you.

I remember when people used to get dressed up to go out. Then, when people started wearing jeans to go out, I started wearing sneakers. I just think dress shoes look terrible with jeans. But now I'm starting to see clubs bring the dress code back. I'm beginning to have a problem getting in to places with sneakers on, including Jersey.

I watched Scott Kazmir's debut for Tampa Bay on MLB.com last year. It was worth it. It's live coverage, just like you're watching television, and I guess the quality of the picture depends on your computer. I've been thinking about doing it for the Mets this year (I think you can order by the month) but I dunno if I can sit in front of my computer and watch a whole game.

na not even close. dna is a very young crowd 23+ for guys, 21+ for girls (i think). i dont think you can classify them as "guidos" anymore. theres a difference between a guido and a "wanna-be", IMO. The guidos are all in jersey.

Dead on. People don't realize that most Manhattanites (mobys and darias) aren't true NYers, they're struggling actors, queers, college students, etc. I don't think it's right to compare NJ clubs to places in the city. Manhattan spots get so hot and cold, and the crowds are constantly changing. A better representation of a NY party would be Legacy, in Brooklyn. You still get a lot of wanna-bes and the rest of the assholes, but it's been going on forever and I always had a good time. I've seen some of the worst fights of my life in that place, but it def had the mintest girls. Better girls than any Jersey spot I've been to.
