Despite his lack of offense last year, he's a .270 hitter. Good enough for me. And I don't think Bladergroen was that special. The Mets can't produce first basemen. Think Earl Snyder and Craig Brazell. I really don't think he's on the same level as Milledge, Concepcion, Jacobs, Humber, or Petit (who the Red Sox originally asked for). I'm happy with the trade.

I would recommend getting rooms at the Borgata. Dinner at the Old Homestead, then drinks at B-Bar (in the casino) and a little gambling. At like 11 take cabs to the Taj and go to Casbah. The Borgata is 10x nicer than the Taj but the dealers and clientele are stuck up. And I've never been to the Mixx but I heard it doesn't compare to Casbah. The one drawback is if they don't open the downstairs. I think it's only open in the summer and on New Year's. I was there for Halloween, only the upstairs was open and I was miserable. I've never been to Tru but I heard it's a sick place for afterhours, esp. if youre into drugs and house music (i'm into neither). I usually find myself all fucked up sitting at a Blackjack table til 8am lol.

Because they overpaid for him. He has a torn labrum, which obviously resulted in his lack of endurance and arm stength this year. It depends what type of music do you like? Crobar is probably one of the worst places I've ever been to, but I don't really like house music, I'm sure other people love it. I've been to Spirit a couple of times and I liked it but I stayed upstairs (hip-hop). The pass for NYE lists JP as the only DJ so I'm not sure if they will play any other music besides house. I've never been to Capitale but I heard it's very big (like 9 bars) and there will be a mix of all different music.
