I bought my tickets pre-sale, but picked 'will call' as the means of delivery. It says I have to be at avalon 2 hours b4 they open. I'm wondering if I'll have any problems with priority entry since I dont have them till I get to the door. Any suggestions???

If youre talkn bout the Pioneer HDJs 1000s, I've had em for 7 months now and theyve been fine. Could be I havent put them to excessive use but so far so good. Anyways, Rock N Soul in Manhattan's price for them is competitive. Worth buyn DJ equipment from there. They gave me a good deal on TTs, Headphones, Speakers, etc.

Tiesto's version is a lil more techier, but still has that bad ass symphonic break. Gotta check out Mat Silver vs Tony Burt's version of Adagio, lil more on harder trancier side, nonthelesss, nice.

It'll be the 3rd time I've seen Tiesto live, 1st 2002 WMC (caught the tailend when he played the Breaks version of Airwave), 2003 WMC (Tiestos version of Adagio nuff said), and now this! The first time to see him in NYC. FYI, I met him this past WMC walkn on Washington Blvd. Took pics but only have hard copies. Surprisingly no1 else recognized him?! Anyways, bought tix for myself and the gf.....nite to remember, cant wait to hear some new material

Pioneer HDJs. Quality.

Is it just me or are these producers some of the finest when it comes to producing quality, uplifting driving trance? Gotta respect the Brits, Italians, and Belgiums when it comes to melodic uplifting hard trance. Some of my favs at the moment: Marcel Woods & SHOKK - Tulips and Chocolates William Orbit - Adagio for Strings (Mat Silver vs Tony Burt Mix) And be on the lookout for Abel Ramos and Shane 54 - Vippenvelmeter (Mat Silver vs Tony Burt Mix) to be released in the fall.

I also spin mainly trance, particularly uplifting hard trance, progressive, and mostly anything that falls in between. Unfortunately, dont have any Dumonde but do know of all their tracks and remixes. Cant wait to hear sum thumpin hard trance from the pioneers

'Nyana' is on the the 'Just Be' album. Its the 5th track. Also you can buy the limited edition album sampler 1 which breaks out some of the traxx on the album including 'Love comes again.'

Thanks for the notification. Finally, we get some quality hard trance invading NYC. It's unfortunate this is their first NY performance. These guyz s/b coming on a monthly basis IMO. I'll make sure to buy the tix online @ 11:01am on May 31;^)

TJHardbeats, Here are a couple of traxx I'm banging out that I consider peak hour: Techno: Titanium - 'D'Jungle' Tube Tech - 'Riders' Trance: Max Savietto - 'Alone' Nitro - 'It's all about Music' House: Mike Macaluso - 'Where we Live' I could go on and on. Again, these are traxx I consider peak hour. You gotta understand that there were several factors contributing to the 'hey day' of clubbing (1997-2000): (1) XTC (2) Economy was booming, every1 was making $ (3) Trance was a 'new' sound to most people. Cmon who can forget Airscape's 'Kiss' and all the NY produced traxx like the ones you mentioned (Funeral, Welcome to the Club, Relentless). I used to compare clubbn these days versus the yester years and you just can't. Like others have said, music HAS to evolve and it has....tribal house is nothing new, its been around since 90's with such traxx as WitchDoktor by Armand Van Helden and Victor Calderone's 'Beat me Harder.' Same thing with trance now....the euphoric, melodic, uplifting sound is still around and Europe still bangs it out. In NY, trance is not big anymore, it had it's day, but these days, every1 is in2 tribal. Plasmic Honey, Tim Rex, Robbie Tronco all there traxx has some trance element to the them also. In summary, I understand where you're coming from, but you have to understand that much of the music then was a new sound and thats maybe the reason you think it was way better then. There is alot of good traxx out these days, just got to find them...I agree I do wish there was a lil more variety in clubs these days with music....that's why I never miss a big name DJ coming to town, such as AVB, Tiesto, Marco V.

FYI....Tiesto's limited track vinyl is out. It features uncut long versions of certain, ie. loves comes again, adagio, etc.

I'm definitely liking their new stuff from Different Concept Vinyls 1 and 2. I like the fact they evolved into a newer sound, still on the harder edge but with some tribal elements and lill more progressive. Like Vinyl 1 better than 2: Ultra Curve and Tomorrow.....nice tracks!

I'm def feeling the Marco V mix but Cosmic Gate's isnt too shabby.

The album was suppose to be released in April, guess that never happened;( Still waiting for Tiesto's Adagio to be released on vinyl. Matt Silver & Tony Burt have a good mix of it out now. Little on the harder edge of trance....worth checkin out. Check out Tiesto's vid for "Love Comes Again" Was filmed in Space during WMC.
