  8. There are sites that allow you to upload your mix. I dunno of any, but do a google search and I am sure you will find one. If you have a website already, you most likely have a ftp account, because this is where you upload and download files onto your website. Basically, its a "behind-the-scenes" place where files are stored.
  9. u have a website?
  10. EU Proposes System for Online Music The European Commission on Thursday proposed a single Europe-wide copyright and licensing system for online music, to boost the European Union's music business. EU Internal Market Commissioner Charlie McCreevy said European online services had to be improved to make copyrights cheaper for artists to obtain. "We have to improve the licensing of music copyright on the Internet," McCreevy said, adding such a system would ensure "Europe's creative community will get the lion's share in revenues achieved online." Currently artists have to secure copyrights in each of the EU's 25 member nations, with each country requiring separate copyrights for the right to transmit songs over the Internet, a complex and expensive process the EU head office said. As a result of these costs, online music sales in Europe have lagged behind those in the United States. Last year, the U.S. had an estimated $248 million in online music sales compared with Europe's $32.5 million. Musicians make money from their music after registering copyrights with collective rights managers. Those managers then license songs to online services, radio stations, dance clubs and other outlets. All these registrations are complex and costs artists a lot of money. The EU head office said a single system governing music rights would save money. "The most effective model for achieving this is to enable right-holders to authorize a collecting society of their choice to manage their works across the entire EU," said the Commission in a statement, adding such a system would "considerably enhance" earnings for artists.

  12. Denny, Nice pics and cool website. Being a Manhattanite, I dont get out to NJ very often. Havent heard you spin since the Exit days. When/if is your next gig in the NYC?
  13. cool, ill check out the website
  14. NICE! will be waiting for that...
  15. Most likely Steve Porter remix, its got a solid progressive house beat to it. Came out back in early to mid 2004 as a white label.
  16. If you were in Germany, it was probably a hardtrance or techno production that you heard. I would agree with the others, if it was a female voice, the DJ probably looped "I'm the DJ" from a song over another track.
  17. could be The Freak pres. Exo - Above the Clouds (original mix) YAKUZA label new dutch hard trance track that has elements of older trance from the late 90s and 2000. take a listen http://www.satelliterecords.com/ram/130920.RAM

  19. thought i post trance tracks 1. Ace Da Brain - Trinity (Liquid Mix) 2. The Freak pres. Exo - Above the Clouds (Original Mix) ***from May not June -this will bring you back to late 90s/2000 trance; similar bassline as Whatchamacalit's Chocolate track*** 3. Max B. Grant - No Good ***simple, yet solid Swiss hardstyle track***
  20. is it me or does it seem like when the question pops up about naming classix, everyone, including myself, can name a schlew of traxx vs. today, most of the current vinyls i'm buying just dont have the zeal that the older traxx had... maybe the older traxx just were alot better than the stuff coming out today? or like any life cycle, does a peak and then a trough...
  21. i also buy from iTunes. is there a way to burn a iTune song from another cd burner, say, Roxio OR does iTunes only let you use their burner?
  22. IMO, nothing will beat the original that came out back in 1989 when Kevin Saunderson (of Inner City) was laying down a new sound (house music) when most people weren't. Still have the cassette tape of Paradise by Inner City that I bought somewhere at my parent's place. Still feeling some of traxx on there: Big Love, Whatcha Gonna Do with My lovin, and Set Your Body Free.
  23. ATB - Ecstacy it was the first track he played.
  24. Never hearing ATB live b4, I wasnt disappointed. Laid down a good selection of his own trancehouse traxx in addition to dropping some electrotrance/disco/house and of course, nice progressive trance and some harder edge progressive trance. Here's what I have of his own traxx he dropped: ATB - Ecstacy ATB - Marrakech ATB - Long way home ATB - 9pm (till I come) Couldnt distinguish any of the others, though they all sounded damn good. I liked his interaction with the crowd, though the only criticism would be that when he was building the climax in his set, he couldve stuck with the buildup and kept the heavier traxx going, but hey, no complaints from my end. One of the highlights had to have been when he lowered the volume on a track, then the crowd sat in silence for about a minute, and then the guitar riff of '9pm (till I come) came on. As for DJ Micro and Vicious Vic that opened up for him, good stuff also. Playing some good ole tech, progressive, and hard trance. I did like Micro's track selection esp with keeping with vocal traxx...was impressed. Vicous Vic laid down: Fractal Structure - Lost Sequence (8 Wonder's Journey into the Unknown Remix)***nice hard tech trance***
  25. Nice techno set. As for criticism, overall, nice track selection, I know most techno songs dont have vocals, but personally, I like a lil bit of vocals within my sets. Keep it up
