just know your gonna get alot of different answers and point of views, but the one thig that i think is for sure is. Some people get into this club culture and only see it as a fad somethign to do while your young in your 20s and then move on, while others live and breathe this culture until they die. Lucky for me thanks to the household i was raised (my brother and cousins were djs) i discovered house music at the age of 9yrs old in 1990 first song i ever heard was TEARS by Robert Owens and since then i have been hooked on this thing. I did try other stuff as well like latin clubs/parties while fun nothing compared to the house scene. Since i was 9yrs old i was hearing mix tapes from soundfactory, dj disciple 89.9 or 91.9 mix shows and so many other bootlegs at te time my brother was getting his hands on. As well as all the new vinyl coming out at the time. My first club experience was in 1995 at Club Expo and i dont see myself stopping anytime soon. And im a big fan of this cultures history so i have lots of books/documentaries articles old magazines video clips dvds on this culture as well.

Opening the night for tedd will be the STIMULUSE>RESPONSE party which celebrates its first anniversary. More info/flyer to come. Its gonna be a great weekend with TEDD PATTERSON on fri night@PACHA and DANNY TENAGLIA@Crobar on sat night.

and the following week is MEL CHERENS bday so a big Paradise garage party as well.

And its the music and party that makes something commercial/underground, they can have this party at madison square garden and it would still be underground cause of the music and crowd that follows 718 sessions. You spend to much time wasting your energy towards me about this underground and pacha shit thats it tiring. throw that in with everyone wants to be a dj and producer and thats the trifactor that is hurting the industry on so many levels, and at the same time what makes it so great.

like all 718 sessions your gonna have people in their 20,30,40,50,60 getting down with the most energetic and amazing vibe of any party in nyc. Believe me im there every month and i go out 3 nights of the week as well to many different parties, nothing compares to 718 sessions.

I say check out CIELO tongiht TEDD PATTERSON will be there, to see what type of music tedd plays go to www.youtube.com and do a search on his name, you will find clips of him from crobar and one from cielo, this way you can see what cielo is like. I'll be there.

musically it wont be main stream and thats the difference and main floor doesnt automatically equal mainstream i know what your trying to say though. Ive never personally said anything bout myself keepin anything underground, only thing i stay away from is trance and commercial tunes. And i stay away from anything that i dont believe in, and that was the main purpose of that other thread mentioning how that dj wanted to play rooms only on his terms.

for danny actually the 23rd is his main party, on the 24th hes playing only few hrs or so along with other djs, but being that hes the bigger name from everyone im guessing thats why they used it. See you on the 23rd at Crobar.

its really the 4yr anniversary of this party not 3 like cielo is advertising, anyhow just found out ANTHONY LAMONT will be Hosting this event so should be even more exciting.

i have nothing to do with these parties, onyl parties i do are STIMULUS>RESPONSE@pacha next one will take place in the main room, and a party i do at LOVE every now and then so no i am not promoting anything of mines, just stuff im goin too. to answer your question if your looking for a big room then go to pacha johnny blaze and have agreat time, you wont be dissapointed with the space and sound. As for the music if your not to thrilled about hearing who they have then check out the stuff i suggested, but im sure you will have a great time.

i would say go to cielo instead and hear TEDD PATERSON and then at 4/5am go to SHELTER to check out the longest running party in nyc history (15yrs) but if that room is to deep house for you go to gypsea tea afterwrad for MANNY WARD playing the harder tunes. I will be at Cielo then off to hear manny myself on sat night.

I agree and while i would love to hear some dark, techier tribal beats for a few mins im sure collectively both dannys are gonna play what i love and thats 30+yrs of dance music.

Also the shelter system has some new stuff as well and the original vinyl system is in dannys loft, as for arc who knows heard it got scattered all over.

Since i first discovered 718 sessions 3 yrs ago, i have not changed my opinion that party is the BEST PARTY IN NYC, with the vibe, the crowd and of course the music. And since that time ive been dreaming of hearing both dannys playing together. Its always good to see danny t at that party but with the history that they both share together it was only a matter of time, and Finally its here. It gonna be a TRUE CLASSICS night, not some stuff from 2,3 yrs ago that some other parties claim to be classics lol. I cant wait.

Tedds monthly "VIBAL" party is on on sat night dec 2nd, see you on the dancefloor. Last month there was an early party that lasted until about 1230am and made the night a bit weird, this time doors should open around 1130pm. I cant wait.

isnt exit still open anyhow just with hip hop/reggaton music as its crowd/scene?.
