truth is by the time i get to 718 sessions im good for the first hr then im stuggilin for the rest of the night and sometimes pass out for an hr or 2 and then just enjoy the music and vibe/energy and try to dance here and there. And my tradition has always been to eat chicken, mash potatoes and rice before goin to my first club, then drinking a nutrioment before goin to shelter and then eating a lasagna or chicken/meatball parmagean before goin to 718 sessions. And during the dancing drink lots of waters/gatorade/ vitamin water and red bulls every now and then. Also i try to pace myself as much as i can conserve my energy, doesnt hurt to have a power bar handy as well. So after dancing for some 20hrs plus i tend to also sleep for 12hrs when i finally hit the bed.

im wondering about the unofficial review as well, hehe. And i havent heard anything either. I can tel you that my party over at LOVE was bangiing hehe.

well for the past 3/4 yrs ive been doign this, i stat my night at CIELO from like 10pm-about 6/7am then i make my way to SHELTER from 7am till about 3-5pm then i get something to eat and head over to 718 sessions from 6pm-12am . New yrs eve and new yrs day partying with some real music heads and avoiding the regular amateur nonsense. If your wondering why i would party so much its because my bday is dec 31st as well.

i would tel you to come on down to LOVE avoid all the big room mess thats gonna happen tonight, and be at a party where people will be there only for the music/dance and let loose. Musically it wont get to hard until about 2/3am and the party will last till 8AM. Heres all the info, hope you make it down i will save a dance for you

what makes you think i only like soulful/deepm, thats the mis conception peopel have about me, and its wrong. Have you been to my stimulus response parties? Far from deephouse dont you see who i listen to and the parties i attend? The only reason i talk so much about deephouse and soulful on this board i cause no one else does, doesnt mean its the only thing i like, open your eyes man. And the parties i do at LOVE once a month are with djs from stimulus response as well as other local djs and a guest dj whos sound i love and believe in. I have tkc vinyls from liek 96/97 been a fan of his for a while now. I dont know weather your joking around or not cause normally you dont get mixed in with all these cp clowns, so if you are fine. But if you werent KNOW you know the deal. And that goes to everyone on this board who only thinks i like deephouse only, you know the half of it then.

why would LARRY LEVAN be in my top 5 really? He died in 1992 nver got to hear him live, i have 2 mixed cds from him, have heard bootleg mixes of his on tapes on online. But i never got to hear him live so i can say for myself. Although if you look at my top 5 everyone on that list except one day would say LARRY was the greatest dj they ever heard before and were inspired by him. So in a way Larry is THEE Legend doesnt need to be on someone like myselfs list, when the whole house/dj community already have him in the highest prestige.

i had a great time with ya and dancing all over the room.

Damn that was some serious fun. Music/crowd/vibe i had a blast and lots of different djs from different scenes in that buidling, from quentin hariss, to roger sanchez, to mel cheren, to boris, davidson ospina, manny ward and countless otheres. Angel Moraes was killing it all night until 830am when he stopped. The opening dj was good also but didnt get a name. I love how the opener was bangin it hard and then it was angels turn and he just lowered the music and began the night with some garage classics. Some people were like wtf while others loved it. Then 3 songs later BOOM he just took it to a whole other level and kept playing that dark hard tribalish beats till 8am or so then went back with garage classics and ended the night with pink floyd. My ears are not ringing one bit, the soundsystem is powerful, best part is how during parts of the night he would just crank it all the way abd the building would shake and then he take it down again. Cant wait for the next party/dj i like to play that room. I wish angel/alan and everyone involve with that project the best of luck.

CIELO is the BEST club in nyc, but im sorry you didnt get in.

I got my dates confused, good job, now the question is will you be there didnt see you at his last 3 bday parties nor at any garage reunion party.

thats right i forgot it is his bday party i got my weekends confused, IT IS A PARADISE GARAGE PARTY after all. The BODY N SOUL party is on MARTIN LUTHER KING WEEKEND, whoopsie. Either way see you at both parties. And in case your wondering who mel cheren is just know that without him there would be no west end records, no paradise garage,etc.

This is not a paradise garage reunion party the party at PACHA is a BODY N SOUL party, with DJS DANNY KRIVIT, JOE CLAUSSELL, FRANCOIS K. The only reference to be made about the garage is that all 3 djs hung out there and 2 played on that system. So please chill out with the wrong info.

dont think its very music oriented, havent been there in a long time, one of my best nights was hearing Behrouz there late night after hrs for a privateparty just like 40 of us good stuff.
