  1. Maybe I will give it a try next time he is playing.
  2. lol I thought about going that night, and I deff did not know its a gay crowd. Good thing I didn't go as I would have been just as out of place as those guidos. (though I am not a guido by any means)
  3. It is a CT one. It is good, it was printed directly on a plastic card so it bends right and feels right. I have put my real CT license and my fake on a table and told poeple I know from NY to point out the fake, and they wern't able to tell. However it does have 3 imperfections: the card is a bit thicker than the real thing, although it is of the same thickness as the new CT licenses and most other state's, the lamination is not as matte as on the real one although it is still matte and it is not by any means glossy, and most importantly the CT seal on the real ones is in red metallic ink (not a hologram) while on mine it is normal red ink (I can fix this, just it is a pain in the ass to do and since my ID has never been turned down yet I don't have the need so far). Out of all of these the only one that a person would be able to really tell if looking closely is the lack of metallic ink.
  4. You know what would be brilliant? If Luz, thiago, and freaky were the same person. But anyways dude, you are taking Luz way too seriously....she has really gotten under your skin. Her posts are never spiteful, and are undeniably humorous. Yours on the otherhand seem to be pretty spiteful with all the fat comments.
  5. By the way, does anybody know a racial slur for Russians? I could think of one for every nationality except them. Incidentally, on a recent trip to Italy, I had an Italian waiter rant to me about how he hates the "[italian American] guidos that come here and visit" and how they "are an insult to Italians" when he found out I am an American.
  6. I think the plight of blacks in America is too complicated to be easily explained and corrected. There are many factors that go in, both due to the whites in power and blacks themselves. However there is most definitely rampant racism in white America. I grew up in a wealthy Fairfield County, CT town near Greenwich. I remember being shocked as a young boy when I would go over to my friend's homes and have dinner with their business executive fathers and stay at home mothers. Almost always at one point or another I would hear the word "nigger" from their parents, or at least some other racist remark (in my home saying something like that was unthinkable, I would get KILLED by my parents for that). These are the same people that run this country, and their kids are the ones that are now going to top universities and are the leaders of the future. They might like P.Diddy and had their parents buy them rims for their audi, but deep down inside blacks are still "niggers" to them. Until that changes, we will never have equality in this country. Another clear problem is the inequality in the education system, and it is so often mentioned that it is almost cliché. In the last 20 years great strides have been attempted in fixing this. How? The government throws money at minority schools. Yet I am not sure if this solves the problem entirely. When I was in HS, we had a two day student exchange with a HS in a nearby relatively poor, mostly minority town. When I spent time in class in this HS, I was shocked. I realized that if I went to a HS such as this, I would not have been able to learn in it - the environment was just not hospitable to learning. However, this school district spends $4000 more per pupil than the district I came from. The teachers are well paid, and the building was in much better shape than the one my HS was in. I did not see any metal detectors or any more violence than in my school, and I received a warm welcome from the students there (even though I was "whitey" with the "yoooo this car is phaaat"). I now go to a good public university (UCONN) and see the results of an unequal education firsthand. Students that came from minority school districts often simply do not have the basic educational foundation that would help them succeed in college. And it is sad to see, because oftentimes these are very smart kids that would have had 1300 SAT's and 4.0 GPA's in college if they were not failed by our education system. Especially when I know complete idiots from my school district who now go to top schools and will do well in life simply because their parents are rich and white. I don't profess to know the solution to this problem but know the problem most definitely is there and that contrary to what certain black activists say, it is not all about money (although it certainly plays a part - CT is a good example because it is relatively progressive in that regard). Yet maybe equality will never be achieved. Racism might be an inherently human trait that even concise logic cannot break. After all, in all the history of humanity, not one government has succeeded in creating a truly equal multiracial state. I hope I am wrong.
  7. I am a luffer, not a fighter. Can I welcome him with some chuvak luff?
  8. Nah I actually want them to scan. My fake scans (making it scan is actually really easy, and only requires a basic knowledge of barcode tech.) Usually, in a place that scans you could give them the most pathetic looking fake, and as long as it scans they will let you in (since according to the law as long as the picture is you and it scans they no longer have any liability for selling to a minor).
  9. Did anyone notice those two paid dancers they had on the boxes before mauro came on? They were real pretty but they couldnt dance for shit, I mean they were so bad it was amusing to watch - they barely moved.
  10. That doesn't sound too bad - thanks for the info!
  11. Hmm, are you saying that you think that an American should get deported for violating a law here? Because that is what your xenophobic comment boils down to.
  12. haha it's principle: I don't believe the government has a right to tell me that I can't drink (while tell others they can), when if it comes down to breaking a law, serving in the military, or paying taxes I am a full fledged adult in their eyes - so even if a place is 19+ I still want to get in as 21 . What constitutes as a valid backup ID? Do most places scan? I think that in general if they have a scanner they don't really look closely at your ID and just pop it in the machine, and mine scans. America: the country where I can buy a gun but not a beer, no wonder we attack other countries for no reason!
  13. Mauro was off the hook! I have heard sets by him that were better, but this was still a great set. I wish he would come here more often, and to a bigger venue (like Arg said). It was way too crowded there to really get into the dancing (at least for me). But everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves, and I think lots of poeple came out specifically to see him which made it nice. On a side note, did anyone see the hilarious fight between the two little asian dudes with their shirts off by the mainfloor bar? One of them even tried to fight one of the bouncers when they broke them up.
  14. Yeah Breitling's are beautiful. A bit more pricey than a Rolex though. For any nice watch though you have to make sure to get the Saphire crystal glass for it...then you can wear it without worrying of a scratch. Plus you can make the sickest sun reflections and shine them in ppl's faces when you are bored too :-D
  15. I normally go out in NYC but starting January I will be up in boston alot. How tough are they when it comes to ID's? I have never had a problem with my fake in NYC (though they often don't even card me) but since boston is a college town I would assume them to be more difficult. My fake scans, and looks very good but not 100% perfect. Thanks
  16. You can never go wrong with a rolex
  17. hmm, you sure all of them were trannies? Because I thought that one or two of the dancers they had were kinda hot, and they didn't look like trannies to me. The power of modern plastic surgery scares me lol. Overall though I thought it was a pretty good night. I am not a huge fan of Avalon (mainly due to the crowd, unless they get a good dj comming in) though I like the way the venue is set up and it's overall look. I had a girl visiting me from Europe this weekend and she was 20, so my options were limited...and when I drove by Ikon the huge line of ghetto types outside made me opt for Avalon. Tony Draper was better than usual in my opinion and he actually got me really into the set he was playing a few times during the night. There were alot more girls there than usual, which made it nice - I remmember going a few times and it being almost ALL dudes on the mainfloor, which is no fun at all. I think I might start checking out friday nights there again, as I was very pleasantly surprised.
  18. At least they have a home, which more or less keeps them quarentined and away from the good clubs.
  19. Luz? Gym membership? You gotta be kidding me...she is a freaky guy magnet....she gets mad excercise running away from the spiked haired ones when she goes to spirit every saturday. And she has big boobies too. What kind of chicks do you like?
  20. I have only been to crobar a couple times, but the last time I went it was really crowded but other times it was perfect. You really could not move on the dancefloor, so I found a VIP bracelet for me and the girl I went with and we went up to the VIP room for a bit, where there was plenty of dancing room (though the music sucked). In terms of dancers, you will always find some sick dancers in there but also lots of poeple standing around looking pretty. Usually after like 4am the dancing there gets good, and circles will start forming. It is by far the prettiest crowd I have seen in NYC (I have never been to a models & bottles lounge type of place though), so if that's your thing you will like crobar. I think that crowdedness depends on if the resident is playing there or not. On saturdays it's Boris (who I think really sucks), so on his days it is a perfect amount of poeple - packed but not tokyo subway packed. I do have to agree with the mask on the bathrooms and the staff...the management of crobar seems to care about their customers.
  21. A Soviet Ministry of the Interior (its a branch of the army but they are essentially federal police) colonel, in a full...down to every detail parade uniform (that means even my tie clip will be regulation issue). That means a long wool overcoat, tunic jacket, gymnasterka shirt....three layers . I am gunna have the white gloves and traffic wand too. I will look like a stereotypical soviet officer right out of the james bond movies....the boots and the hat will add about 4 inches to my height so I will look like am 6'9 and the overcoat makes me look ridiculously wide. Not to mention I can do a perfect russian spy accent, and even have a red soviet ministry of the interior passport ID! All I have to do is learn how to march correctly. My classes are mad boring this semester, so I have had mad amounts of time to think this over
  22. I guess I will just wait till it gets closer to halloween. I actually care more about the crowd for this than the music. My costume is going to be waaay too hot for me to get into the dancing like I normally do, but it will be really fun to somewhere where everyone gets really into it. Hey how come everyone hates on ItalianP so much?
  23. I know this is a bit early, but I have started getting all the little pieces of my costume and have been getting excited about this. What are usually some good parties where people actually wear costumes? Does crobar usually do a Halloween party because I could see the crowd there getting really into it?
  24. I got into VIP on saturday thanks to having gotten the same color bracelet they had for VIP at an event I went to earlier .
  25. I have been to spirit only once, and maybe it was a bad night. But I did not think that JP was that bad....he was much better than DJ boris in Crobar. What made the club really a terrible experience was the crowd. It was overcrowded for starters...there were way too many guidos in AX tank tops that think the polite way to walk through you is to push you out of the way. There was very little dancing going on. And to top it all off there were like 10 guys for every girl.
