Junior Vasquez Had A Heart Attack

Recommended Posts

Not a rumor, confirmed by Exit, paramedics, Junior was taken out of Exit with a suspected heart attack and is not in the hospital. We were initially annoyed because it was obvious that no one was in the DJ booth for many hours, but we understand given the circumstances.

The way people party around here, that's the understatement of the century. :blank:

I hope he makes it okay... I know he's touched many many people. :(

Well I certainly hope he's feeling better soon. He was the first DJ I ever went to see in NYC, and he still makes me feel divalicious every time I hear him spin or play his CDs. I wanna send him a card or a present or something. Which hospital is he @ ?

My prayers go out to Junior, and I really hope he survives.

Anyone that heard him mix at the black party and memorial day weekend knows that his skills were FAR from over.

Besides all he has done up to date, he still has a lot to offer many, so I hope his health will prevail.

I just spoke to an individual who is close to Junior.

Junior is fine. He did NOT suffer from a heart attack or any drug related incident. It was a false alarm, but it was decided better safe then sorry.

He is resting comfortably and will be just fine.

He sends his gratitude to everyone for their well wishes.

WOW, well I'm so glad to hear he's ok.

But it does make me wonder, how much longer he's going to be able to keep it up?

Thank god hes ok !!I think he is not to old to spin everyweek i think no matter what age spining 13-15 hour sets everyweek is to much. Plus he is remixing all week ,traveling etc. Last week he

did a 6 hour set at the pride dance then went to earth and did 18 hours thats 24 hours behind the decks to much no matter what age!!!He needs to tone it down a little play normal 8 hours max.I hope he stays around because there is no one that can move me like junior can but if he has to stop then all i can say is THANKS JUNIOR for all the wonderful times!!
