And tell him to tell her that if it would make things awkward that he will not persue his feelings for you... Basically it will do 2 things... 1) Put her on the spot. Cause I highly doubt anyone would say no do not go with your feelings ( Just to be spitefull )and It give you the right to date him knowing that she gave her blessing.
