Dmitry on JonathanPeters.com has just made everyone a little nervous by stating that

"As for the rumors I wont comment on them, I'll let JP or Kristee Lee say something. I dont want to say the wrong thing at this time."

he's the administrator and close friend of Jonathans, that comment seems a little shadey to me

Grant mentioned to JP that the Saturday party needs a change, and that JP is more than welcome to do the SF friday party. JP couldnt beleive what he heard, and flipped. JP closed it out with "This is my house". . believe what you want, those are the facts.

Thank you very much, as I started this thread, I hope you all realize this is the truth, NOT a rumor, "Everything that has a beginning, has an end":(

Any great journalist needs a reliable source on the record (Name, etc) to avoid re-print!

Yeah hes done, i know someone who works there and there were rumors about jp leaving for a while. Factory wont be the same this is true but you can not say that it has been the same. Halloween was insane but when you cant go there on a regular night and expect a decent night then something is wrong.

Hmmm, interesting comment by Dimitry, means something is deffinitely going on.

Richard Grant has been around since the legendary days, perhaps he is just sick of catering to the shirtless and sneaker k-hole crowd.

I have heard him say myself "I want to attract a mature older crowd". This was a while ago, but I am sure when you're making money, even with the druggie crowd, you tend to compromise your principles.

At this point in his Club Career, he can afford to make changes and take a gamble. He could afford to even retire if he wanted to. I think perhaps Mr. Grant wants to be the one to shake things up. He has been ready for a change for quite a few years, he just let it ride, because it was indeed lucrative. I say he's bored with it.

Richard Grant has another vision in mind. I for one am curious to see it emerge. Let it roll.

I like your point, Grant has always been successful, and if he takes it in a new direction I will definitely give it a chance at least once.

But the infrastructure he has invested in is really geared towards the druggie crowd, it's so big, cavernous, bass heavy and intense, but we'll see.

NYC is really on the verge of a major nightlife transition and either it will work and bring back a golden age, or it will flop and I will have to find a new hobby.

----Kind of cocky, don't you think. It's actually Richard Grant's house, that's the actual fact--and he's cleaning house. Took him long enough, that crowd has always been a thorn in his side.

Eddie Baez must be smirking through all this, you guys know that history. :hat:

Can we say "Karma".
