Morillo deserves an amzing spot cuz he's fuckin great.i havent been to ikon since exit days but exit is one of the best spots in the city... you cant argue that that space isnt hands down the best in the city.. you can argue about staff, promoters, drink prices, door policies the crowd etc... but you cannot argue about the venue itself... for any dj to gain a residency in a club that big is probably a dream come true... dont kid yourself.. plexiglass Posted October 3 Report Share Posted October 3 I have to say I agree, that the club has a lot of potential.I was definatly NOT a fan of Exit or Black.I like the new rennovations because it's not OVERDONE likea lot of clubs in west chelsea... It's not all aboutthe paris hilton wanna bes & bottle service. More like a real NYC club focused on the music,giving you lots of space to dance and to chill/relax.I had a great time finding a comfy place to relaxwith my friends after dancing. It does have a little "ghetto" element to itwhich I like - this is NYC NOT MIAMI BEACH. If eric morillo were to become a resident there that wouldreally kick ass.
