Also, Avalon is 18+ so the amount of underaged is more than actual 21 year olds and buy drinks. So their bar isnt doing that well either. Avalon is packed with younger people looking to go out so i guess the $25 admission isn't enough for them to stay in business. I'm not implying that I know everything, but I think I know a little more than you since you have never been there. And No im not an Avalon fan and I have been to Limelight many times. And another thing Avalon and Spirit will be working together in the near future (JP party most likely).Listen Mr. "I know a little more than you" I too have friends that have been to Avalon as many times or more than you have. Yeah I know I can't take in their experiences and make them mine, but I take their word for it!! Avalon hasn't been the same for a while!! The reasons you give for the closing of Avalon could be taken into consideration, but aren't the exact reasons. I'd like to listen from someone who actually works there or goes there every weekend instead of your biased opinion!! If Avalon moves to Spirit then what happens to Limelight and what happens to all the activities that were going on at Spirit which weren't much these days? LL still has a lot of potential to the right mind and buyer!! It will be interesting to see what will go down once LL closes it's doors for good. Stay tuned!!! mptmtiaaf Posted July 14 Report Share Posted July 14 i seriously hope that avalon moves to spirit and kicks out made events... then hopefully made events will REALIZE that they should've stayed ROXY all this time. goddamit.. spirit is too damn small and the sound system isn't even that great.... friggin, pvd, sasha, armin, even tiesto at roxy were awesome... not really even about the dj but the venue.... sound system at roxy never hurt my ears like avalon.... and it was such a big space with so much room to sit down.... fuck spirit and avalon.... bring the parties back to roxy.. Students who register for the new classes are going to live in the area of the facility now occupied by Spider club, in a traditional convent setting.
