No wonder you hide behind that duck mask...I can only imagine how dreadful you must look in person (here's where you should say thanks to the internets, without which you'd have no life at all).At any rate, I'm looking forward to Thursday as well. I went to the "VIP Post-GLAAD-Awards Reception" last night at the Marriott Marquis, at which Jr was spinning. It was just a short 2 hour set (which he does for them every year, to give back to the community), but honey, I've never seen such a large group of mary's in monkey suits getting DOWN to some Madonna on that dancefloor!Was great to see Jr (and the other characters I was there with), and though I have a strict "no going out on school nights" rule for myself, I was happy I bent the rules and went to hang for a while -- I mean, free party, free drinks, VIP treatment AND Junior spinning? Yes, please I'm sure certain naysayers won't take my word for it, but her mixing last night was flawless. Seriously. Not one trainwreck, not one mixing mistake, everything was perfectly smooth (including mixing out of one record into another which was playing backwards). Some stuff played:Britney Spears-Gimme More (JV/JV Mix)Britney Spears-Break the Ice (Jr's new mix...love it, and I can't stand Britney!)Noel-Silent Morning (Jr's BIG Mix)Madonna-Get Into the Groove (Jr's 2007 Mix)Madonna-Megamix (not sure who's, but had stuff from Holiday to Express Yourself to Vogue to Music)Madonna-Hollywood (Jr's World/Private Collection Mix)2 PR, a BM & a D-Do It Properly (Vasquez 07 Master Blaster Reconstruction)Amy Winehouse-Rehab (Jr's Mix)And a few others as well.
