Shit I thought I had my favorites picked out, but then I saw some great favorites from all of you guys!

The Crow(the original)

Usual Suspects

Run Lola Run

Trainspotting

Heavy Metal

Losk, Stock, and Smoking Barrel

Dusk Till Dawn(only cause this is your typical guy flick, half-naked Salma Hayek, vampires, car chases, fight scenes. What more could you ask for!)

movies i thoroughly enjoyed:

Apocalypse Now

Scarface

Saving Private Ryan

Forrest Gump

Shawshank Redemption

Dumb and Dumber

Gladiator

Six Degrees of Seperation

Rounders

and, in due time,

Traffic

I also saw Fear and Loathing. If you actually try to follow the story it goes nowhere at about the midpoint of the movie. The rest of the time, Johnny Depp and his partner just go on acid trips. Benicio Del Toro is also in that movie. Peacez.

4) eyes wide shut

Do you mean the French "Chocolat" from like 10 years ago or the recently released film?

'Cause the older one was exceptional.

But my vote... well, it's my fav, maybe not the best though... "Miller's Crossing"- Joel & Ethan Coen. I love that movie.

By far, the all time best is "Rosemary's Baby," hands down.

Others include:

Frantic

Scarface

Repulsion

Death and the Maiden

Roman Polanski's Macbeth

Looking for Richard

Carlito's Way

Glengarry Glenn Ross

Raising Cain

Hurly Burly

Dog Day afternoon

Serpico

Cruising

Casino

Afterhours

Mean Streets

Once Upon a Time In America

The Insider

Every movie directed by Roman Polanski and Brian DePalma is superb. Most of Scorcese's are good as well. And any flick starring Al Pacino, Sean Penn, John Malcovich, Gary Sinise, or Michael Caine.
