  4. "Politics Explained"

A little boy goes to his dad and asks, "What is politics?"

Dad says, "Well son, let me try to explain it this way: I'm the breadwinner of the family, so let's call me capitalism. Your Mom, she's the administrator of the money, so we'll call her the Government. We're here to take care of your needs, so we'll call you the people. The nanny, we'll consider her the Working Class. And your baby brother, we'll call him the Future. Now, think about that and see if that makes sense,"

So the little boy goes off to bed thinking about what dad had said.

Later that night, he hears his baby brother crying, so he gets up to check on him. He finds that the baby has severely soiled his diaper. So the little boy goes to his parents' room and finds his mother sound asleep. Not wanting to wake her, he goes to the nanny's room. Finding the door locked, he peeks in the keyhole and sees his father

in bed with the nanny. He gives up and goes back to bed.

The next morning, the little boy says to his father, "Dad, I think I Understand the concept of politics now." The father says, "Good son, tell me in your own words what you think politics is all about." The

little boy replies, "Well, while Capitalism is screwing the Working Class, the Government is sound asleep, the People are being ignored and the Future is in deep shit."

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL (And my MOM sent me this one! )

  5. Although I agree (vaguely) that mega clubs are "Teenyboppers" -- don't you realize that there's a huge population that fuels that. Let them be, do your thing, and leave em alone. Its called diversity. People are different, and as you get older, shit changes. I used to "Teenybop" from 15 - 20 and now its lost it's appeal to me, but that doesn't mean it hasn't for a billion other people! If you're ready for the lounge scene, have the money, and like those people by all means do it. I'm in between, I like and don't like both scenes for different reasons and try to pick and choose between the two and switch it up. To you, the "in"places will be lounges, but to a LOTTTTT of poeple, lounges are full of stuck up, coke obsessed, model chaser pompus insecure guys like you portray yourself as.

Sorry, but come on. You say --

"WHERE ARE ALL THE PEOPLE WHO GO TO REAL CLUBS THESE ARE CLUBS AND BARS/LOUNGES WHERE YOU CAN BANG A COKED UP MODEL AND HAVE A DRINK WITH TOBEY MAGUIRE,DEREK JETER,LEO DICAPRIO AND SO MANY OTHER CELEBS."

Even using the world "real" in a context like this fails to prove a valid point. The term banged might just probably be the most "I'm an insecure hard up prick" sign on your back...I'm extremely embarassed for anyone who has the audacity to use it.

If you feel complete from star chasing, get a grip and re-evaluate what nightlife means to you, if that's all you come up with, again I feel VERY sorry for you.

"OF COURSE TO PARTY HERE YOU NEED TO BE BEAUTIFUL AND HAVE ALOT OF CASH "

aka. BLOW hard (or not so hard) earned cash That's great you like to be accepted for your money, and you like to buy your good time but for me (& many) -- no thanks. Please, not everyone is beautiful, but the'yre judged on who they are, what/how much they have and what they can do for the club/you. A fucked up criteria and to down to earth, chill, relaxed people its disgusting.

"BUT I MEAN WHY GO TO A SHIT HOLE LIKE SF WHEN YOU CAN GO TO AN EXCLUSIVE CLUB AND BANG A DEB (DEBUTANTE)"

Because of the music. Because of the vibe. Because you release tension, can relax, and aren't judged by what your last name is, how much money you make, or your $1000 Prada pants. (And "we" wouldn't be stupid enough to overspend that way smile.gifBecause of a billion reasons people like that kind of environment, and most don't ask why you go to lounges (Even though lounges to clubby people are SHITHOLES, figuratively) Exclusivity is overrated, from two years of experience working in the most "Exclusive" lounge at that time, I learned FAST why this is true. Debutante? PLEASE. I wont even bother to explain that one.

"IM GOING TO PARTY WITH SOME MODELS BABY. ITS SO FUCKING EASY. YOU GIVE SOME COKE AND THEY WANT TO SUCK YOUR DICK. I LOVE MODELS....THEYRE SO STUPID."

Well...if you are on clubnyc posting (repeatedly) about your plans to be fabulous...You've already made the opposite impression and couldn't be more tacky. FIRST you read that article about CHAOS and the coke and COMPLETELY reiterate almost word for word that text in a post trying to make it seem like it's your words/writing - LOL , PLEASE, who DOES That smile.gif I almost fell off the chair. THEN (After complaining re: the article , why is everyone obsessed w/ coke) You say shit like "give models coke and they'll suck your dick" LOL...If the best you can strive for is model chasing & drugging, I wish you well in discovering a more meaningful and lasting reason to go out at night. It's a billion times more rewarding than that.

And if you have to give women drugs to get a blowjob...........and you ANNOUNCE THAT ON THE INTERNET.....you might just win the prize for the most desperate and self demeaning charachter I know. Models are making thousands for doing practially nothing, you're chasing them and feeding them free drugs......WHO'S THE STUPID ONE?

I can't believe I put in the past 10 minutes writing this but I couldn't let this one go by. Grow the fuck up. I wouldn't doubt you're a miserable person, and I wish you well in trying to find an ounce of happiness in what CAN be a great nightlife, even with the crap that exists.

    Peace.

  6. The very first weekend Twilo opened like 5 yrs ago, I was up in the DJ booth vip area and a mangled mess....Went to smush my way on the couch in between 2 HUGE beefs and no joke twisted my ENTIRE leg , like from the knee down it was one way and the top part was straight. It just popped and i felt this warm rush it was GROSS but i didnt even care -- I think I was laughing!! The next day I bugged out for hours...It was all retarted, I guess It popped back in but it was so swollen.I NEVER WENT back up in that room! LOL

Oh, and at Arena, -- actually, I had met these two guys from the OLLDDD clubnyc -- I think it was romulus and azo? Anyway I did way 2 much ~~~ and next thing u know..FLAT ON MY FACE ON THE STAGE. I was wearin 6 inch platforms and one was UNDER the stage. No joke JR's lighting guy flashed a spotlight on the crowd around me while they carried me to a couch. Internally, I thought I was floating in the ocean. My friends said I had this hugeeee smile on my face. I woke up on the couch and got right back up on the stage. Three people told me the next week they HEARD the bang from my head hitting the floor!!!!!!!! HEHE!

One guy grabbed my ass so hard i had 2 finger shaped black and blue marks smile.gif

    later!

  7. Someone who posted about the top 10 songs below wrote:

"but everyone knows that exit will remain as the best club in nyc by far!!!"

The frustration I feel when I read statements like this Is similar to when my mom says "BUT THEY'RE ALL WEARING IT"

    There is no "they"

    There is no "everyone"

    There is no "best"

Don't these people understand the concept of diversity? Individuality? My parents listen to classical 394027502 hours a day and that makes them happy. I listen to house. They think I'm crazy, I think they're pathetic, but it doesn't MATTER! Don't deal with what you dont enjoy! (Lesson in life!) 90 Percent of the BS on these boards/online/in real life are debates over things that HAVE NO ANSWER! Stop spending time and energy on crap like that and focus on developing what you enjoy, what makes you laugh, cry WHATEVER -- music and the whole club environment can be such a powerful and amazing influence on your life.. It opens you up musically, socially, mentally, there's so much to get from it. But -- not if you spend your days debating on this stuff! Go out and have an amazing night for yourself, not for anyone else, develop your own passion for music and for the scene. While no one's opinion outweighs anyone elses, you still don't have to defend what you like to anyone.

Its not a then vs now argument; there will always be people complaining about how it used to be and I try not to become that -- BUT -- If I can respect people liking overground, shiny new PoP/House cheese certainly other people can respect that some think its miserable. That's why I dont go to exit. That's why I dont buy compilation CD's . That's why I dont go to Bang Bang.

When will people realize clubs & music are much more of apositive experience when you internalize it and make YOURSELF happy than worrying about everyone around you.

I always say, If I go to bed happy and wake up happy no matter how miserable the world around me is, that's good enough for me.

  15. Hey --

I live on 6th ave and 8th street (actually its Christopher, but right at that corner) and its a great building, a studio (HUGE walk in closet, big bathroom, nice little kitchen & high ceilings w/ brick walls - with elevator, video security, laundry, dishwashers etc... I pay $1625 , been here a year. The studios on other floors are probably $1700 now, but its worth it for this area. Anyway if you want the info or number, I have a woman you can call who will hook you up. Its the BEST PART OF THE CITY you're like 5 minutes from everywhere!!!! And no fee too smile.gif
