pharmacist- unrelated to this topic, i read what you said on that other post about the richie and his lsd production days. i find that rumor totally believable... in fact, i picked up 'sheet one', the first part of that 4 part 'trilogy' that richie put out, starting in 91 i believe. sheet one was the only disc i didnt actually posses of the 4, (only had it on napster), some how i came across it and picked it up. the whole basis of the music involved was geared towards tripping according to richie himself. anyway, i opened the cover and inside the cd jacket, to my suprise, the plastikman symbol is printed on a sheet of blotter paper, divided just like lsd, with little tiny plastikmans on each one... be cool ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...

i think we went through this a month or two ago, but i will say it again. first of all, this list was voted on by the readers of DJ, based on not much more than a popularity contest as far as i can tell. while the list obviously contains many talented artists... any list that has judge jules ahead of danny tenaglia, seems to me like an absolute laugh. and that's not to mention the host of other names on that list, jeff mills, richie hawtin, steve lawler, etc,etc,etc...... who on any given night could blow any of the top five out of the water. take it with a grain of salt, it's only my two cents. be cool ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...

it shouldnt take you much more than two hours from the city. I-87 is the best way to go and from the city, i believe the Tappanzee bridge is the best way to it. or you could run 684, up to 84 west and pick it up a little further up the road. if you choose the tappanzee route, which is probably the most direct, 87 basically starts there. enjoy ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...

the most odd thing about that place is their hours. you should call before going to make sure they will be open. they have some nice pieces there, some unique stuff too, but they are pricey. although im not sure that the city is any cheaper for the same quality. i haven't researched it, but i wouldnt be suprised if you could get some gear online, shipped safely, with some good deals. stephen ------------------ we must cultivate our gardens...
