What’s up everybody!? NEW WORLD @ Jade Terrace Let me tell you about this Saturday, we got a great party lined up, an underground party at a really nice venue. Vestal Muzik, Wicked Liquid, Soobin, Exodust and myself are coming together to bring all types of Techno, Tech-house, Dark House/deep trance, and Progressive beats for your listening/dancing pleasure at the Jade Terrace, which is part of the China Club….…..the rest of the club will have its normal lineups, but the Jade Terrace (including a heated roof top area) will be our party – with a separate entrance The cover is $20, but with renee’s guestlist it will be $15……the party starts at 10, so get yo self together and come on down!!! Send a quick e-mail with first name/last initial to renee_list@hotmail.com to be on the list……(or say Renee’s list at the door) The DJ Lineup starts off with Andy C spinning Minimal/Techno, then Wicked Liquid throwing down Techno & Progressive…..I’ll be closing from 2-4 with Deep & Dark Tribal Tech House and some progressive beats….it’s a solid night of music all around, with a good crowd, and a nice venue, all roads lead to the Terrace!! come out ready to DANCE! 760 8th Ave (between 46th and 47th) – subway lines N, R, W, Q to 49th St.

I just want to let everyone know about this Thursday's party at the Opium Den.....DJ Divine has been setting the standard for a perfect Thursday spot over the last several months, as many of you already know..... Well this thursday he's asked me to open for him, and I'd love to have as many of you guys/ladies come out who can make it ....if you're looking to get out and about, listen to great underground sounds and sip some drinks (without paying any cover) this awesome lounge is for you.....and Thursday's are where its at at the O Den, for the D3 (Deep, Dark and Dirty) parties.... I'm gonna go with DJ Dan and Derrick Carter, those 2 are gonna throw down!!!! these are 2 DJ's who have unique styles....sometimes the GU/UK Prog. DJ's all kinda sound similar, but these guys are unimitable!! got a decent crew going, too!! gonna be a good night!!

Twilo = Club Deep with a new unoriginal name (same address = same club, probably same promoters and DJ's too......) when you say "better than the original" its apparant that I should never listen to a word you say.......how could a party that hasn't happened yet even compare, let alone be better than the world's greatest club which proved itself over 6 years of amazing talent, sound, people, and parties???!?!?!?? I guess cuz of the thong contest :laugh::laugh: yeah.....this is sounding better and better....really similar to the original in the whole idea behind the Twilo parties *sarcasm*

I don't know how you meant this, but it sounds like "move on with your life you loser" meanwhile you know people are strugglin with emotions right now, just look at the topic, she's havin trouble enjoying music...obviously someone who could use support rather than get a wise crack __________________________________________________ I've been thinking about it, we may never "move on" cuz this will always be a part of us, this tragedy, this experience, the experiences to come, the changes to come.....to a degree, it is important to try to get back to some sense of normalcy, to get into the routine....its tough though, I hear what Exodust is sayin, the normal way for many of us to get away is to chill out to some music, maybe smoke if you got 'em.....but when each song reminds you of what's happened, or how good it used to be, it makes it hard to move on.....that's her point, she would like to 'move on' and music typically heals us, but right now even music tears a sensitive chord in us.... I think electronic music is good because it doesn't have too many words (my fav. kind), its just soundscapes, it gives a release, an escape....a lot of music we've always loved comes on and reminds us of how ignorantly blissful we once were, and how that is now forever changed.....or even the words remind us of what's happened "keep on rockin in the free world" came on and all of a sudden it has a whole new meaning......makes ya think Art reflects the times, and music is certainly art......they're pulling movies that might be deemed "innaproppriate" or distasteful, I'm sure musicians will think similarly....or at least the labels will....what do you think a group like Rage against the machine will do at a time like this....kinda hard to rip on the gov't, even if its true, at a time like this...... it would be interesting to see what the change in music was during WWII......I don't count vietnam because madd music back then was anti-war, and we hadn't been attacked, whereas now, we were attacked and more people are supportive of our government....

Mugz - sounds like a good idea..... let me know if you want any assistance for the party....(DJ-wise, idea-wise, promos, etc.....) i'm sure it'll be a good cause (all out fun, great music, people mingling, DANCING!!!) you'll probably have more success doing it on a weekend night if its in BK, plus if you want it to run late night, have people be able to go all out, etc......if not, then a Thursday maybe.... umm....I forgot all the questions- I am not allergic to the above, I usually pack my own baggies Oops I mean bags, I think you asked about beat styles- variety is key....I think that kid Charlie Ruhle might be available - let me know & I'll call him to find out.... .heehehehe
