yo we saw dougy fresh @ Albany, he definately knows how to get the crowd movin.w/his beatboxing @ freestyle skills.....noone should laugh at that, he's the man!!!...well if we include all live performances I'd include him, the fugees, Jay-Z, dave matthews @ woodstock, billy Joel @ MSG, rollin stones, damn....I think we were limiting it to clubs, huh?

damn now I realize how simple minded my plans were.......yeah - set up the entire family with a mill or so each, cars for the boys/girls, an apt in NYC, a house in Aruba, a jet ski/boat, a quad, a few cars, a club, and an amazing studio, a record label, and then I'd go to studio/engineering school.......umm.....I'm sure there's more.....lets see.....well I'd have 100+ mill to spare in the bank which I'd live off of the interest.....even if I make 5% interest that would be 5 million a year!!! sawweeet

I wonder how many people on this board will put: 1) open a club in nyc or 2) move to the islands or 3)move to the islands & open a club I guess I'm no exception cuz that's what I'd do too.....& build a studio/apartment in the side rooms of the club

my favorite live PA would have to be infected mushroom at World june 1st.....SICK!!!! they rocked a sick psy-trance set with Pink Floyd remixes and the whole 9....place was jumpin as far as diva vocal performances, I guess Celeda "music is the answer" @ Dtour @ tunnel.......I didn't even realize it was a live PA till I looked up and saw her on stage singing....it was a great performance & song.... favorite live DJ set.....I would say either PVD april 13th (his last Twizzlo performance) or ....for techno - Hawtin @ buzz in DC or JEff Mills @ limelight.....both sick, I guess Mills takes the cake

Try a Stoli O and Red Bull....mmm...had it once, on a whim:idea: , but it was pretty decent... Stoli O and 7up is bombs....., or absolut w/pinapple juice...... otherwise its heineken, corona w/lime, or Sam Adams on tap....... michelob light in bottles aren't bad for a light beer:)

I'm definately goin...I'm spinning also, but I'd still be going otherwise...we hit the 1st Phuture Soul Sessions at the Plant bar last month, and the beats/vibe/crowd were really great......perfect mid-week party..... come out to support this party and for a good time!!!! :beatnik:

my friends used to cook it up in the toaster oven...once they threw it in there and my boys parents came home, while it was cooking and they were in teh kitchen, we had to do some scrambling to get it out of there before the realized what was going down..... There's way too many boards right now.... too bad CP didn't fix up their act till AFTER half the people moved to other boards.... but sometimes the other boards are dead, this one did weather the storm and is still people's first (i think)..... I spend half the day switching from board to board trying to find someone/something interesting.... I wish it could go back to when everyone was on this one board....I think all these other boards had good intentions but now everyone's divided which sucks..... I disagree.... and the funniest part of this is that a group of like 10 white kids in a larger crowd of 1000's of white kids, will look at 10-50 asians and assume they're "grouped together cuz they won't assimilate".......hypocrites? yes....you just don't realize its YOU who's limiting yourself to your own race.....try to open yourself to hangin with EVERYONE.....I don't think you'll find any resistance from one nationality or another....as long as you're cool/friendly/outgoing..... but I find that if there is any stereotype for asian people at clubs, its that they are really friendly, and I find asians representing at a lot of the BEST events in the city.....ya know, its nothing to do with Asian or not....I find that people at clubs are friendly.....some aren't, but it has nothing to do with their nationality....they might just be an asshole fuck all this talk about "asian's this " and "asians that"./////I'm an asshole for even replying..... bottom line, its people who categorize people into nationalities who kill it I hope I didn't offend anyone........except maybe make someone realize there's no need for this type of attitude......

ORchard Bar is cool.....decent drink prices, good music, good vibe...(try the Fruition Saturday party) Opium Den is cool, esp. thursdays Leopard Lounge is nice... (SK13 covered those 2) next Tuesday the Plant Bar will have another Phuture Soul Sessions party.....its the 2nd edition, but the first was a great success so check it out...(free, good beats, good drinks)The PLant bar is really a great spot.....perfect for a midweek night out..... (BTW I'll be spinning that night.....august 7th)
