  1. Fried-Day!!!!! Time to Blaze/put on some beats, and forget about the WORKWEEK!!!!!!Well, almost time...gimme about 7 hours to light-it time.... WHOSE WITH ME!?!?!??!?
  2. Jonathon Peters, SF Saturdays....One build up after another.... Song/production-wise hmm: Mauro Picotto Pulsedriver Sorry, this is just the tip of the iceberg...
  3. HELLZ yeah...I went there...my girlfriend is the bomb she bought me a ticket for my birthday and brought me for the best time....Plenty fungus, many disco bisquits, lottz of wackytobacky, & good music/peeps, BUT we slept through the first nights rave and I heard we missed Sandra Collins....all in all the best weekend of my life.....

  5. I guess you have to forgive him eventually, cuz he's your cousin, but thats Dick of him to do that....Forgive, but you don't have to forget....bust his balls....don't rely on him as much....hope you had a good time, at least
  6. I love smokin blunts...I can't lie...As for pills...I'm down to my last 1-2 times then its quits....BUT I wish it were good for me, cuz I LOVE IT (when they're real)... Sorry....I'm still a good guy....(hee hee) ------------------ Jewel Promotions invites you to CHECK OUT NYC's Newest PROGRESSIVE party SATURDAYS at WEBSTER HALL.... 7. i love them both....That's what I base my style on, a variety, some hard house, some prog. trance, some chiller trance, ... One's not really better than the other, and a lot of songs overlap both genres.... I hear what your sayin, though, I have to say Jonathon Peters/Tony Draper get me FIRED UP...then again, so does Carl Cox with his style, which is neither one (as well as a little of each)...Some Trance DJs (PVD) do cause people to rush the dancefloor and rage, though...There is a wide range of songs under the terms "trance" and "house", I see no need for people to be so divided about it, after all, they are so similar (compared to other types of music - pop, alternative, r&b, rap, etc)....Last week- Lawler, this week Seb, 3 weeks- JP, its all good shit....
  8. I heard Backstreet boys won Best Rock N Roll Band? WTF is up with that ish? their not even in that Genre....American Cheese Music Awards ------------------ Jewel Promotions invites you to CHECK OUT NYC's Newest PROGRESSIVE party SATURDAYS at WEBSTER HALL.... 9. I dunno too many details, but this should be a start: Stacker 2's Ripped Fuels Caffeine Yohimbe,Ginseng, vitamin B etc... Red Bulls/Vodka any of the above mixed with good herbs,,,etc.. I'm also curious, so other peeps- help us out!! PS - is speed out there at all...? I never hear anything about it...
  10. I actually enjoyed the whisteling on this past friday...they were actually pretty on point, with some good timing, etc...PLUS there wasn't too much treble in the music that night, and I kinda wished there was more....
  11. I hear ya, but then again the Tiesto Mix is the best one.... There are songs that I love, and their are songs that I love that ended up blowing up and everyone loves them (& I wish they had remained obscure), and there are songs that I love that didn't blow up, and there is something special about them, since I feel like they're more original. BUT not everyone's a DJ and I can respect them for still LOving a song even though it's played....Even though I may not agree...PLUS - as for saying that loving a played song means that you are unoriginal and follow the crowd to seem cool, etc...- well there's also a crowd that thinks its cool to be ahead of the 103.5 crowd, and wouldn't it also be kinda following that crowd by dissing people for still liking a popular song? trying to seem hip by only liking obscure music? I mean, if you loved it a month ago, why hate it now? On the same note, I usually do stop playing a song after it hits 103.5, but I don't think it automatically sucks and cannot be someone's fav...(its all Subjective, so we'll let everyone choose their OWN fav)
  12. Older - Transa "Madagascar" BT Godspeed, TwiloGoddess-- PVD- Another Way- GREat pick BUT as far as anthems being a Fav - don't they become anthems BECAUSE their so many peoples fav song?...so it does make sense, right? Newer - Luna Mora? - Feel It? (I could be wrong about the artist and/or the song)
  13. It was Awesome meeting everyone....Trippin Trance is the man, introduced everyone, etc... (thanks)... Def. Want to chill out w/clubnyc peeps soon... As far as the music, I was feeling the beats, BUT it did leave me fiending for my progressive fix...Anyone else find themselves yearning for some harder/faster stuff?// BUT hey, power to those guys for keeping true to their style, rather than pleasing the crowd with the usual prog/trance/mix..... peace everyone Chuck
  14. Oops- I thought you were the one who talked about the dub stacked mitsu's ...my bad...It's the tan double stacked mitsu's, a bit wider (in diameter) than the average pill. watch out for those...
  15. Sounds like PMA, I'd be careful...Dancesafe described PMA pills as white/tan "double-stacked Mitsu's". and they said PMA takes 1/2 hour+ longer to kick in, so people ofter times throw down another one... ------------------ Jewel Promotions invites you to CHECK OUT NYC's Newest PROGRESSIVE party SATURDAYS at WEBSTER HALL.... 16. Now Emcee25 - your points about how LONG you've been in the scene and all of the OLD school parties you went to did 3 things: 1) I admit, that's F-N awesome..I mean Most of us wish we could've seen there/experienced that 2) Made me realize that after I've been in the club scene for 15 years, I HOPE I"M NOT STILL TAKING HITS !!!!!! 3) MAde me realize that being in the scene for a long time does not make you cool, cuz some people are just angry, old, and COLD// PS- THE SCENE is about YOUTH and ENERGY and OPENMINDED NESS...So an old dude rippin on the SF kids and complaining about NEW younger faces on the scene should realize - the crackhead is the one who's been rolling for LONGER, not SHORTER and that attitude is ANTI-what the scene represents; I mean its AWESOME to see new people experiencing clubs/electronic music for the first few times..It reminds me (& should remind you) of when WE were new to the scene... well I'm out...but try to take a step back, bro, I'd rather you describe what you did, what you saw, etc..rather than tell us why you're the man.... (& even though youth is part of the scene, so is agelessness, so keep clubbin, just don't be a dick)
  17. Hey, didn't I see YOUR kids at Twilo last Friday? ------------------ Jewel Promotions invites you to CHECK OUT NYC's Newest PROGRESSIVE party SATURDAYS at WEBSTER HALL.... 18. Try reading the book "Generation Ecstacy" I forgot who its by (some Rolling Stone Writer) thats a GREAT book which goes through the origins of the scene, from disco/punk to detroit techno/house, to Europe's take on House, and Frankie Bones going to UK and bringing back the sound again..etc etc...I'm butchering the history by trying to summarize it, but I think its a good source of info..(although the author writes in VERY technical language and BIG BIG words - to the point where its a difficult read)... ------------------ Jewel Promotions invites you to CHECK OUT NYC's Newest PROGRESSIVE party SATURDAYS at WEBSTER HALL.... 22. NEED HELP.... Can anyone descrive Lawler's style? choosing where to go tonite.... ALso - anyone know whats going on at LL? All I know of Lawler's what I read, sounds like he has some tribal trance, sexy dark grooves....is it a mellow set? we like it progressive...any thoughts? *******too many stars*******
  23. What's wrong with that? I would have to say that the most important things in a club would include the DJ, the venue (which includes size/setup/light/sound), & the crowd.
