  8. There always seems to be a beat in my head...Sometimes I'm at work and just want to rage for a hot second (dancin) but then again I'm in a stuffy office, so have to restrain..... ------------------ "He who loves not wine, women & song, remains a fool his whole life long.." -Martin Luther King
  9. What is it, then? It sounds pretty trancy to me.... I mean, what is "exactly" trance? ------------------ "He who loves not wine, women & song, remains a fool his whole life long.." -Martin Luther King
  10. Whats up.... Many good Clubbing experiences to be had here in little old NYC.... Depends what scene/music you like... Sound Factory- Slammin 21+ saturday party, hard mix of progressive house/trance/vocals..many build ups very energetic crowd.. Twilo- Another big Sat. Party with Junior, I prefer the many great DJ's which get booked on Fridays... Exit- Big, mainstream Saturday party (biggest club in NYC), I like Fridays better (better harder beats, but people complain its too young, etc - too me, who cares?) Vinyl- You'll have to tell me what it's like first hand, but I'm dyin to check out Danny Tenaglia on Fridays- heard GREATGREATGREAT things... used to hear him at Tunnel, but I'm sure he has greater artistic license at Vinyl to play whatever he wants to... Limelight- Legendary, but like any of these clubs, it depends on the night... Tunnel- only been there once since its heyday, it sucked, but people say its getting better again...(only 1/2 the people say that, the other half says it sucks) there are too many clubs to list each one- these are the most well known/biggest. also try some smaller spots (centro fly, chaos, spa, hush, float, cream, etc....) Point is - If you want clubbin, NYC is the place...Good Luck and have fun... ------------------ "He who loves not wine, women & song, remains a fool his whole life long.." -Martin Luther King

  13. Got a flyer in the mail- Onionz, Joeski, one other DJ, not sure.. it said "Mello" - anyone know what type o' beats they spin? ------------------ "He who loves not wine, women & song, remains a fool his whole life long.." -Martin Luther King
  14. OLDER - (artist?)-Watching You - I love when a song changes octaves when it slams in... Push - Universal Nation - builds up, then the lady yells "Whooo!!" then it gets fired up and trancy... Mario Piu - communication- Great build up all beats ..original.. (artist?)Hysterie- live version with the crowd in the background NEWER- Second Trip- Great Hard Track (pretty much all of the Tracid Tracks' LP's songs are) Damn!!my brains a blank....I'll get back to you guys... ------------------ "He who loves not wine, women & song, remains a fool his whole life long.." -Martin Luther King

  16. How about "Word" "True That" "This is True" "I hear ya" "Hell yeah" sorry, my brains not doing too good either. (gatecrasher still in my system)_ ------------------ "He who loves not wine, women & song, remains a fool his whole life long.." -Martin Luther King
  17. I hear ya - It was packed at first. Green Light- That was Gatecrasher's. The DJ is usually up where the lighting jockey was, and the stage is empty (cool for dancing).. The laser was def. fatty, especcially when Sandra would put her hands up during a slow point... I was feelin it... (the whole crowd was) ------------------ "He who loves not wine, women & song, remains a fool his whole life long.." -Martin Luther King
  18. i love that PVD song "We're Alive" Also, the remake of the Duran duran's "Ordinary World " At first I hated it, and expecially when I heard it dropped at Exit after Bruce Springsteen, but In Sandra's set, it was awesome...Just goes to show it depends on the DJ, the crowd, and the mix...I still don't think I'll pick that track up, though... (more thoughts) ------------------ "He who loves not wine, women & song, remains a fool his whole life long.." -Martin Luther King
  19. It was GREAT!!! I was highly impressed by Sandra, as well as Guy Ornadel... Good beats, fun crowd, all around good night...What about your thoughts? Did you see me? I was that guy getting walked around with a leash by a dominatrix.... ....Just kidding, I WAS the dominatrix... ... just kiddding, I'm just your average cat in the club... ------------------ "He who loves not wine, women & song, remains a fool his whole life long.." -Martin Luther King
