For all of the reasons everyone has mentioned already... Also though... If I'm not mistaken, Subliminal (Thursdays at Centro), the reduced price has been raised to $15? I'm pretty sure of it... So for an extra $5, you get longer party, 2 DJ's, and you can dress Mugwump style... -D

Hey...on the flyer...does it say Crystal Method will be playing a LIVE SET or DJ SET? Just wondering...cuz from what I've heard, their DJ SET is nowhere near their LIVE SET (which I've been to). I know that Hybrid was AMAZING live, but sucked DJ. -D

Hey Chasey... NYC is a cornacoupia (sp?) of good parties this holiday... Thursday starts it off with Anthony Pappa and Lee Burridge at Vinyl. One thing I really regret is not having seen Pappa at Twilo. I saw Burridge in Amsterdam in March, and he is really really really good, fresh style. Friday, H-Foundation (Hipp-e and Hal-o) are playing at Shine. The sound system isn't too great, the venue is ok, but they are are great producers and I loved them at Twilo. Saturday, it's Twirl of course! But I must stop by Centro-Fly for Timo Maas... Sunday, Danny Howells is gonna pick up (us, off the dancefoor, after pummeling us July 3) where he left off with another 10 hour set at Vinyl. Finally, Thursday Sept. 6, Sander Kleinenberg, is gonna be playing on the Paddle Wheel Queen. wow!

Wow! Great set by DJ Dan at Centro last night. Started out with some nice fluffy house to get everyone in the mood, and slowly started the bangin' choons. Several tracks we recognized, such as Return to Afrika, and several we didn't. Pooh help a brutha out? As always, aound 2:30 or 3:00, the set was getting more progressive. Almost a mini-Twilo set till Dominque came on with some really cool new/experimental stuff. Shouts to BrightonBeach, RLD2G, Pooh, Crommy, and our other friends who came to reprezent... Centro Fly...still the best club in NYC...
