Hey all...I was there. My silly self turned around and stuck my tongue out at the camera as Ray Munns was taking it into commercial, in the middle of the show, right before Afrika Bambaata. You could also see me in several of the general dance shots. Also, Glowsticks, from the board, got some good face time, as well as several of my other friends not from the board. It was a great time, free 6 course dinner, open bar, etc. Great crowd, actually, and great vibe, since Giant Step put it together. No 'roid boys or juiceheads, just happy friendly people. Eddie Bang openned with a great set, better than Oakies, but too bad they didn't show that cuz he's not the star, Oakie is. Peace ------------------ "Much respect...to the dreamers..."

Centro was smokin' last night. And that's not just cuz Jilly was there. (please hold all groans to until the end) Satoshi Tomiie played straight up house. Not too much progressive stuff. He was really good though. Vibe was great too. Went there with BlueSkyGirl, and saw Jilly + Crossy, Crystalmethodny + Peache5030. Peache - nice to meet you! Satoshi Tomiie is playing the Harmony party May 9th...y'all should check it out! Definitely drive stick. I drive in the city all the time...it's not a problem. Getting stuck in traffic with a stick is *slightly* more annoying than with an automatic, but it's not really a problem unless you are on a steep hill (like in San Fransisco or Ithaca). I left at 1pm, got home around 2pm. DT was kickin' our asses! Hm, if you left at 6ish, it was right about transition time. DT played for about 45 min to an hour, and then they started tag teaming for about 45 min, and then it was DT. Simply amazing night. DT dropped a mix of the new Depeche Mode song at 10am, which was my highlight of the night. A close second was 20 min later when he played a mix of "Sweet Dreams" by the Eurythmics.
