  1. fuckin' a ! i'm so stoked about judge jules! i've never liked pvd live, as much as i like his recordings. i just put him in the subject line 'cause i figured it'd get people's attention. pvd is also playing in l.a. the following week as part of his "rock the vote" tour. but judge jules got my roomie and me in vip free last time we went, 'cause my roomie had been corresponding with him for a while. we waited a lot longer than everyone else and the vip area didn't really offer much. we got in free, though, so we were cool with that . i was about to just bump up this thread, though, 'cause it's really gonna kick ass!
  2. while "tattling" or "squealing" on co-workers is generally unnecessary and not exactly cool, one has the right to talk to management if one's co-worker comes in 5 hours late to be at a party when there was a serious overload of things to be done . this is especially true if the same co-worker spends most of his time at the workplace on his cell phone and fakes a limp while at work so that he can sit down more often (and seems to walk just fine everywhere else ). tune in tomorrow.
  3. what are you doing now?and somebitch, when'll you be here????
  4. i work at a camera store/photo lab and it's WAY cheaper to have your prints done at a lab. first of all, inks are ridiculously expensive. don't forget, ink is covering the entire page; think of how fast you go through ink already on your normal printer, now try to imagine how much faster you'd go through it on a photo printer. the paper's expensive, too, and you'd make mistakes and have more waste around edges than you would at a lab. 4 x 6 prints at my lab are 27 cents each (we're more pricey than costco 'cause we're MUCH higher quality), and a box of 25 archival sheets is $8.99, or 35 cents. my lab also does fine tuning that you might not do (i don't know if you adjust color, density, contrast, etc.). a home printer is good for convenience, though, if you want to make quick prints every now and again.
  5. i used to have SUCH a big thing for short guys . i didn't even notice that i did till i realized that all the guys i had been attracted to happened to be short. i wondered if it were a tendency or a requirement (maybe that's for another thread)... i never fucked anyone shorter, though. anycrap, my last bf was exactly my height, and that was a huge turn-on . and kissing him standing up was amazing mostly for that reason; he wasn't a great kisser, but just us being the same height sort of made me feel that we fit together, if not just for those moments .
  6. time flies when you get to work late . tune in tomorrow.

  15. if you had to choose the most driving force or the biggest reason, what would you say it is that gets you out to dance clubs? (i am not including bars in this poll.) and please elaborate in posts, 'cause i really wanna know. for me, if i had to narrow it down to the main reason why i go, it's to dance. it's the feeling i get when i dance that music i can't hear anywhere else in environments i can't duplicate gives me. when i'm on the dancefloor i am in bliss ; i hope everyone eventually finds their way to get to theirs. so, what about you?
  16. which days/nights will you be here ?
  17. as long as one doesn't act on it, one shouldn't be ashamed of having a strong urge to smack small children every now and then . tune in tomorrow.
  18. crazy, huh? not only is go ventures getting its ass in gear already, but it has pvd, judge jules, pete tong, roger sanchez, and matt hardwick (so he says) in the bag !!! i went the year before last, when they had judge jules, dj funk, and many other great peeps, and it was a great party. sure, the other attendees are mostly in their teens, but they're a happy, festive crowd, with great costumes. it was an amazing lineup all around that year, too, and i don't know if that's what brought in the good crowd, but it wasn't the zombie-type kids you can often find at raves now; these partygoers weren't there just to get fucked up. my best friend and i stayed till the end. check out the site: http://monstermassive.com/2004/intro/index.html
  19. checking care labels when buying clothes is to one's advantage; some items aren't worth the trips to the dry cleaners or ironing they'll require. tune in tomorrow.
