Not everybody gets DOMS... many people don't get it at all after the first few workouts. Judge your progress by your strength, not your soreness. But if you don't keep any of your exercises consistent, that'll be kind of hard to do. I'd recommend keeping the core movements the same for a while -- bench, squat, pullup, military press, deadlift. Let your progress in those movements be your guide.

People who argue about how clean prescription drugs are shouldn't then talk about trying to buy them over the Internet. Just IMHO, of course -- seems to defeat that particular argument.

Well, like you said, to each his own -- though of course everybody thinks their own taste is the best.

"Learn to appreciate" it? You clearly have different tastes, but I don't think it's a question of musical sophistication. The music was pleasant, groovy, but entirely repetitive and not at all inspiring. It was the exact same bassline over and over again. They could have played most of those records in completely random order and gotten the same effect. I think most people there felt similarly, at least until 4:30 or thereabouts when it picked up a bit (but not enough, IMO). There were a lot of bobbing heads but not so many dancing feet...

Great party. It was fun seeing most of the usual suspects in the same room again... I really hope this keeps up!

I haven't heard anybody talk about Joe's man-tits since the "good old days"!!!!

Just like a "real world" community degrades (in some people's opinion) when standards of behavior aren't enforced, so does a message board community. I think the issue here is that many (most?) people don't think that standards of behavior are important on this board. They don't think of it in terms of "community" (ah... the memories). People who've thought differently have gone off to form their own boards, where they set the standards. It does work, but the admins have to care enough to enforce the standards. Dave's not that kind of guy (in the sense that his standards aren't as strict as some people would like) so this isn't that kind of board.

Managed to weasel myself out of work this weekend (err... I told them the truth and miraculously it worked!) Looking forward to it!
