hog and mdamon: are you guys going to wmc? we are leaving tampa tomorrow. yes tampa sucks musically, but you can go to hyde park cafe at least once a week and have a great time. i always thought that if i lived in miami i would be outta control, so tampa is safer for me. and miami is not THAT far if you want an escape every now and then

yes josh wilkins definitely rocks hyde park cafe every other saturday. in fact, i like what he's been spinning lately more than what three spins (he's at hpc usually every other saturday) hope to see some you here and down at wmc this week

you can usually leave your luggage at the hotel before check-in time and go do whatever you want.

in years past, they have allowed backpacks, although they might search them when you enter. cameras are definitely allowed.

i doubt wmc will be moving anywhere. even if the "official" conference moves, the dj's will keep coming here because they love playing miami.

i was thinking about having my cousin come down to miami and experience the electronic music scene (he's a newbie) but he's not 21 yet. are events that pre-sell tickets 21 and up only? what about other events? just wondering if anyone knows off hand. thanks

went to mansion last year and had a great time. zabiela was incredible and i thought digweed destroyed it (the breaks that sasha was playing were uninteresting imo) not going to AA arena however. a couple of the reasons: acoustics and atmosphere. i prefer the club enviornment and i heard the sound was screwed up at "delta heavy" a few years back during wmc (also at AA arena i think) also, danny howells will be dismantling the space terrace on saturday

last year's "other" appearance was at score (gay club for all you homophobes) i didn't go but someone i knew said it was an incredible set
