Well, may I make a of suggestions on your schedule This is just a friendly advice from an Ibiza "semi-pro"
    1. Instead of going to Judgement Sunday, you should really think about going to We Love Sunday's at Space, it starts at 6am Sunday morning and goes until 6am Monday Morning with an unbelievable carry over to DC 10, which is undoubtedly one of the best/craziest clubs on the island, across the street from Bora Bora, you have the option of leaving Space one time during the time you are there, which is the perfect place to do so.
    2. And although Manumission is a must see, it's not the best night musically and you might find it somewhat of a disapointment since the show has gone down hill a little over the past few years. Def. go if you really want to see Manumission, but be prepared that it might not be all that you expect, and it can be quite a pricey night.
    3. The water party, again although this is something that's kind of cool to see, it's kind of gross to go in the water, the club is really small and the music can be quite dissapointing, so I think Hed Kandi might be a better otion.
    4. You MUST go to the sunset bars in San An for sunset atleast one night while you are there, it's an event and you can meet some really cool people and have lots of pre-party fun!
Always buy your event tickets from people that are selling at bars in Ibiza Town and San Antoni, they are a lot less expensive then waiting at the doors to the clubs and paying more. Again, just wanted to give a little advice, whatever you do you will have LOTS of fun, enjoy!

    Dave Morris,
You seem to have much more knowledge on the subject than I do so sorry I didn't know the proper terms. Also, I'm not the one going on a random message board and basically giving a blowjob to some dude I don't even know, that's weak dude. In any case, this thread has been truely entertaining so thanks for starting the gheyness, rock on!

Does anybody STILL use glowsticks or lights?
If so PLEASE STOP. Thankfully non of the parties ive gone to in a long time have had those things. Last time was at cielo and thankfully the bouncers told him to put that crap away after a certain someone said something hehe. So if your still using them FESS up and defend why you still do? This topic may seem dumb but im bored at work.

I stayed for the whole thing. Very interesting set. It was mostly themed to remixed rock songs. I was very close to the DJ booth and I saw all his CD's had labels called "Bang Rock"
Some of the tracks I remember because the crowd went totally nuts.
    ACDC- Highway To Hell
    Nirvana- Smells Like Teen Spirit
    White Stripes- Seven Nation Army
Nirvana- Lithium (yah, he played two Nirvana songs no longer than 3 tracks between. I loved it because Nirvana is my favorite band but did find it shocking.)
Then he played tracks from the new album which threw the crowd into a curve. "Into Your Eyes" obviously borrows from Phil Collins' Easy Lover and "Big City Nights"? which Armand does the vocals in the grating voice he used for tracks in his Gandhi Khan album.
About the crowd; I had a friend who walked in with me and then another friend who showed up 2 hours later. They both said the same statement to me after walking into the club seperately.
"There are lot of Asians here"
And they both never saw sway dancing before, my friends wondered what the fuck they were doing.
He played from 1 to 4:30 and I didnt hear My My My. If he played it, I must have walked around a bit to miss it.

    good evening kiddies...nice 4 pages of nonsense....j/k
Oldtimer - I am so sorry you had a bad time bro, sucks cause I had alot of fun
Ovrdose - Happy Bday...dude, I saw like 30 guys with orange shirts on and I felt stupid asking them, "hey is it your bday today?" esp. with the outift I was wearing. hehehe
Originally, I didnt have any plans to go cause S&M isnt my thing and JP usually plays hard ass techno at these gigs...BUT since my original plans fell thru and my boy John Paul called me sayin that he got on extra ticket; I was psyched as all hell...took a power nap, got there at 3:30 as the amateur drinkin crowd was leaving - hence plenty of parking...I must say there were a ton of fine lookin 18 year olds leavin and I had to wipe the drool off my friend's face.
We walked right in at 4am, no line, the place was hot as an inferno, bathroom line took forever, 3 outta 6 stalls were outta commission...simply put, ROXY should be shut done for health code violations.
JP however was playin some DARK Tribal and throwin in some cheesey vocal tracks like "I Believe in Love" (wtf?) some people arent really into that but I love it and thought the music was great, best thing about the night.
I know I already asked this but what is the song he looped for 45 mins at 6am??? ...shit had me goin nuts, still hummin the damn track and I dont know the lyrics or the damn title. anyone? anyone?
of course, around 8, he played GTI, AGAIN, and after that it was hard tech from 8-11...my head was poundin, couldnt take it anymore and just left - the place was still buzzin.
it was refreshin to meet a whole bunch of new peeps, esp. ones who are into the music and dacin, unlike some cheesey NJ meat market. Wanna thank Taryn & Audrey, Mike with all the tattooes, Justin, & some huge guy Steve. Fabio C was all over the place lookin whacked as usual, and there were some peeps who I wont mention just cause if werd got out that they were at a JP party, it would destroy their reputaion as serious house afficionados.
Although I was decked out in leather, not too many people were, I didnt see any crazy gross freak shows, just some whacked out trannies runnin around. I thought HOME shows were really cute. The crowd was ehh, only a handful of Jersey peeps - Lots of underage Britney wannabes in runnin around in their panties....THIS INST THE UNDERWEAR PARTY GIRLIES. For an S&M party, it was pretty lame, but overall, once the crowd cleared it was a great night out.

finally have enough brain cells to write a review (just from being tired, no substances)....
had a very good time at Spirit....got there around 3...plenty of room on the dancefloor, and that continued throughout the night...i'm glad pvd was next door at crobar or the place woulda been uncomfortably packed...danny was in a raised black encased dj booth (where the stage usually is) and opposite the regular dj booth...the black sides of the booth were annoying though, b/c you could only see danny if you were directly in front of him, like the roxy booth....i think that was b/c the strobes and lights get in his eyes, and DT still had a problem with them...
crowd was very mixed, lotta guidos and asians as usual, but no major problems or drama that i saw....around 6 you could definitely see the crowd shifting toward the old Vinyl crowd...best collection of dancers i've seen on one dancefloor in a long time...dudes spinning on their heads, upside-down scissor kicks, people doing 540's and shit...some great female dancers too....i was in awe....
anyway the set was pretty good - not his greatest, but it def got progressively better....weaved between classic house, electro, tribal, techno, tech house, progressive (even close to trance, but DT vehemently denies it), and finally his signature danny style...music started gettin really nasty around 6 or 7 am, where he played bomb after bomb...he didnt get on the mike much all night, u could tell he wasnt that into it like he usually is, didnt use the flashlight much....from what i recognized and remember:
    Be Yourself over Underground
Green Velvet - Flash (DT's nitrous oxide mix)
    Scumfrog - The Water Song
    Miss kittin - Frank sinatra
Depeche mode - I feel loved (dt mix) - DT drew this one out real nicely
    So Strong
many more that i know but don't know tracknames...go to dtourism for a better tracklisting....
left around 7:30 after my legs gave out completely....as i walked out i heard For an Angel coming out of the walls of Crobar, put a smile on my face....Danny did not disappoint, and it was good seeing a lot of familiar faces...spirit is def my fave club of the moment...

had an AWESOME time at Spirit last night...got there around 2 and David Guetta was playing The Weekend...that got the crowd going a bit...this is one of the emptiest I've ever seen a club, it never got more than half full at any point in the night - which was great - tons of room to dance your ass off...heres what else i remember DG spinning - Geht Noch, Bang Bang, the world is mine, just a little more love, calabria, and many more i cant remember right now....i really like his style - euro jazzy house, vocals, some breaks, and even some scratching...even though the club was pretty empty he was really into it and paying tribute to everyone on the dance floor...
exacta came on after him, and i was pretty impressed...completely different style from DG obviously - harder, nyc house...
crowd was very good actually - lots of hot females and great dancers...people were there to dance...i'd give it an 8.5/10

Word I was there too. I must say Spirit's sound system continues to amaze me. I danced as much as I could. My shins started hurting so I spent most of the time chilling and listening to the great music. In addition to what you said they also played:
dj rooster and sammy peralta - shake it
steve angello and sebastian ingrasso - yeah (played at least twice)
sander kleinenberg - the fruit (tom novy remix) - Went crazy to this one!
    yoshimoto-du what u du (SICK)
I also heard some old 80's song I forgot the name
I left around 5:30, what time did it close?

LOL - exactly what I was thinking. From the sounds of it Silverbull is about 60 and started the whole scene!
Nice response though Silverbull, I can appreciate that you have always been into the music, it's just that sometimes it comes across as if you have been going out for the last 20 years, but have hated any dj that has changed his style in the last 5 years.........
