Been to Ibiza twice, and going again this year for the closing parties. Interested to see what they did to Space, but for real daytime party craziness, I hear DC 10 is great as well. And yes, something about the combination of Morillo and being outside is magic...his terrace set at Space Miami at WMC this year was AMAZING!

Agreed w/ everyone here. Will be dropping by Cellar bar tonight no doubt, glad to see you pulling Sofa King out of semi retirement. And I can't stress to everyone how much fun Festivus was last year. One of the best parties I went to last year in terms of vibe and overall grooviness. Def. psyched for next week.

Funny bit from Page 6 yesterday... July 9, 2005 -- Tommy Lee was menaced by gun-toting goons after his deejay set at a private club in Croatia the other night. Lee had teamed up with Subliminal Records head honcho Erick Morillo for a dual deejay gig at the launch of the club, but apparently his turntable skills did not impress the irritable owner. A source told blabbermouth.net: "The owner didn't think Tommy played enough, and he just wasn't into it. Suddenly, on the way to the after-party, Lee was surrounded by Croatian heavies. Morillo urged him to leave with him immediately on his private chartered plane." The duo managed to make it unscathed to the airport, where they hopped a flight to Ibiza.

No, the Pacha coming to NYC is associated w/ the international clubbing brand of the same name, including the flagship Ibiza location. Been to Pacha in Ibiza twice, and was very impressed. They have a great vibe, soundsystem, and a beautiful crowd. Very excited for this.

he's playing Crobar Miami on the 1st. Saw him this last friday. What a fun night. His stuff is alternately funky, banging, and techy...he loves the filtered disco stuff. He does start out w/ the more commercial stuff, then goes into the harder afterhours sound late night, then for all the diehards who made it till 10 he dips into the classics. One fun moment from Friday was when he bought the entire club shots of Patron when the bar reopened at 8. Then during the last song, he climbed up the 2 story tall speaker stacks and danced.

The Cancer charity sander is supporting that night, Have a Dance for Me, has the VIP room all night...with DJ's Brian Owen, Doug Waylo, Stadenco, and Matt Licatta of 112 Crew. Also worth checking out.

Not tough to get into unless it fills up. It's a nice, medium sized space, w/ great sound. We're looking for a no hassle, comfortable, and mixed crowd, so come dressed to dance! PS - Gabe...who'd you hear about this from?

There's also Lounge on Broadway right at Houston, in SoHo, has a lot of cool stuff, and a CD store and cafe inside as well. And there are a lot of little places on Bway near there. Just go to the corner of Bway and Houston and walk south.

I know I'm biased, but I love that one... It starts off Subliminal Sessions 8, and it really gets in your head.

I had to work most of the night, but got to cut loose for Erick's terrace set...DAMN, did he kick ass. Did anyone see him jump up on one of the pillars and start stripping? People were shoving 20s and 100s in his pants! The man is a rock star!

Actually, the nightstalker category was the "viewer's choice" type award that everyone was allowed to vote for.. But I'm psyched Sully got it, as well as Asseteria winning best party. Went to their party in Miami, and they were nice enough to give me a t-shirt that says "I Smell Ass"

I'm pretty sure he's in Miami by then... Is this confirmed?

Shakedown - "At Night" It was the third live song Terra Deva did, after "Sting me Red" by Who da Funk, and "What do you want" off Morillo's new album. Didn't know she did the vocals, tho. She kicked ass!!

Way too tired for a full review- AMAZING night! Was there till after pdidy, came back at 8 and stayed till close at noon. Def right about this getting me excited for WMC. Space is gonna be insane!!

NICE!! Great turnout, fun songs, and Erick had a blast. He played about an hour, alot of Subliminal favs and songs off the album, and then signed CDs and gave away a bunch of Crobar tix. Thank you to everyone who came out; see you tommorow night for the real craziness!!
