Dec 24th is an annual tradition from SMAC entertainment: a huge party for Jewish clubbers (think it used to be called the Matzoh Ball).

Actually, there seemed to be alot of people who came for the DJs. I had a great time...Yousef and Paulo played great tunes, and the openers started things off well. Hadn't been to Avalon in ages, but everone there was nice, too. Good party guys!

Had fun! Porter played a really interesting and energetic openning set. Had a great time with Junkie XL, who I'd never seen before. Great stage presence and crow interaction, and ass shaking track selection. He was only up there for like an hour and half, tho. Didn't stick around for Astro & Glyde (long day), but wanna say a special thanx to Miss Blue Sky in the Reed Room early- nice set!

A great DJ in a great club....perfect. Seriously, was at love last week: everything people are saying is true: amazing soundsystem, friendly staff, and no drama.

Mylo's great...hope he recovers and plays NYC soon... Yeah, I have good hearing and worry about losing it by being in clubs 2-3 times a week. Now I wear these most of the time: http://www.earlove.net/index1.html Inexpensive, and they work great: I can actually hear better, talk to people easier, and appreciate the music with these bad boys. Can't recommend them enough to all you frequent clubbers, esp for those places that think a LOUD soundsystem is a substitute for CLEAR.....

Bought him that shirt for his birthday. And those Ibiza dancers are great. When I was there, one dancer dressed as a pilot literally rode a naked girl with a propeller hat across the club on a wire!

Manny did a great job when he played our party at crobar. Kick ass tonight, shame I won't be able to make it.

Since when is Duvet gay? The thursday "Distortion Disco" parties are mixed, but I think that's it. Try BED. Same idea as Duvet. Or just hang a bunch of sheets up in your bedroom and turn the music up, then charge yourself $300 to sit on your bed and drink a $15 bottle of vodka. Ta - Da!!

Opus 22, on 22nd and 11, has a great soundsystem, good DJs, and is always pretty chill and not too crowded.

Dropped some LCD soundsystem in somewhere, otherwise can't trainspot his records for shit. Great time tho, I danced my ass off. & Lee Burridge at the afterparty took what was left of my brain and mashed it on the floor.
