Why dont you just take your drugs in your living room and just pass out there instead of infecting us all with your shit. People go to clubs for different reasons. Just because they don't share your reason to go doesn't give you the fucking right to go around trashing beer and vodka/cranberry drinkers. You need to get a fucking clue. If you like dirty and grimy, go wet yourself and dance in your basement. Me? Well when I go to a club, i dont care if you drink beer, vodka & cranberry, snort coke, take e, dance funky or just stand around. If you are having a good time, its good enough for me. People having a good time regardless of whether they are wearing tank tops, suits, sweats or nothing at all, is what a club needs. Not snotnosed condescending insulting ppl like you who grimace at people who may have a different agenda from you.

Here's a big difference between Spirit and Crobar: In Spirit, the bouncers make everyone feel like a friggin' criminal. They go around flashing their flashlights and yell at people for no fucking reason. I went there for the first time a few months ago and I think I sat down where I wasn't supposed to because the bouncer flashed his light at my face and yelled "MOVE!!!!" at the top of his lungs. In Crobar, the bouncers make you feel like welcomed patrons. If you stand or sit in the wrong place, they let you know that you need to move along in a courteous way. After a few times there, I knew where I could and could not take a rest from dancing and I never did it again. Now all I get at Crobar is a good vibe from not only its patrons but also its staff. It's amazing how much vibe a club's staff can create.

Opus22 www.opus22nyc.com its not that big but has a decent system. Before 10pm the walls are open so its like an outdoor cafe that plays good house music. After 10pm, the music gets cranked up and the walls are shut so the neighbors dont complain. not bad in my opinion.

Opus 22 www.opus22nyc.com no cover and definitely no hassles. It's chilled and they have good local talent as well as some international talent on a weekly basis.

Opus22 is pretty cool. Very nice space and the sound system is pretty good. Friendly no nonsense environment. And best of all, no cover!

This CD is quite bad. I'm a huge Sasha fan. I still think Involver was the best EDM CD ever made. I still listen to GU Ibiza from time to time. I went to 4 of 6 Sasha appearances at Crobar during his residency. I loved his Orlando promo set back in February and I thought his recent Essential Mix set was the best EM set in years. But...the Fundacion CD sucks. It's boring, VERY experimental and lacks energy. Its uninspiring and has very little up or downs. Very monotonous and definitely something that will put you to sleep. I'll try and listen to it a few more times but I have low expectations that my opinion will turn around. It's unfortunate that the CD turned out the way it did. Bah.

I was supposed to go but timing didn't work out. I'll pop by soon though. This place was in the works for a long time and I'm glad to hear it's finally open.

I'll put it simply. Hip Hop used to use rhymes and lyrics to tell its story. Wery few artists tell that story like the hip hop artists of the past. House music requires no rhyme nor lyric, yet tells its own story its own way. Its deeper when you don't have to be told the story through words. House music lets you conjure your own story for each track. It's a more personal form of storytelling.

He has single handedly reshaped the world of djing and live performance. Listen to his essential mix - Available from now until May 27th, 2005 on the BBC’s Essential Mix weekly radio show. Two hours of the most mindbending EDM. Even if you don’t like his style of music, you cannot dispute what he is doing. He has made every other dj a wannabe, has beens.....prehistoric dinosaurs still living in the past who with their ape-like minds cant comprehend what he is doing. Unfuckingbelievable.
