The first 2 floors are the restaurant which is also amazing, and then the 2 levels on top of that are the nightclub. So, that means that Tao is an amazing 4 stories tall. The size of this nightclub rivals that of Pure, but the class of Tao in our opinion surpasses Pure by miles. BillLe Posted September 24 Report Share Posted September 24 Tao was hot, hot, hot last night. All the industry peeps were there. Decor was awesome and sound was great. It had 3 1/2 levels. I say 3 1/2 because the 3rd floor which is the club, has an upper level with skyboxes and bathrooms. Dancefloor a bit small, comparable to the size at Pure and a small outdoor balcony. Also, to show tourists that there are other nightclubs worth going to that are as good if not better than Pure, which in our opinion is commerically glorified. lalate Posted October 3 Author Report Share Posted October 3 it was my first time in vegas, but i worked for that party (displayed custom, original video art made just for the event in the main room). i didn't see all the clubs that vegas has to offer, but i can tell it's the hottest spot in that city at the moment. there's no way the ridiculous door is going to last, at least not as ridiculous as opening weekend or even new york (where i live). i only wish that they weren't planning to only have hip-hop in the main room. you would think that a room that big would deserve house music instead of only hip-hop. actually, it was DJ reach on friday and saturday and i have to give him credit for playing a lot of classics and 80's... i'd still like to hear house though. oh well, hopefully it'll be different when i go back, preferably to work again.what was your relationship to the venue, mr.vip? it was ridiculously hard to get in! i guess you know a manager or something.here's a pic of my video in the main room:Not hard with the right persons Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
