I had soo many emotions come about as I read this book, and I will be purchasing the book that precedes it.. I'm reading Hope, it's a weird porno book about a dude obssessed with an escort.. india22 Posted December 28 Report Share Posted December 28 I'm reading the biography of Bebe Buell "A rock & roll journey" (Liv Tyler's mother), she was a "groupie" in the 70's. The book is okay, but some of the bands talked about I don't know.But its fun to hear all her wild stories with Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, Jimmy Page and many many more. But the thing I don't get is she adamantly states how she was not a groupie, but an inspiration to them all & had songs written about her!! "Gig" - people from all over the US talk about their jobs, from the mundane (Grade B beef slaughterhouse employee) to the powerful (hollywood producer). Good read...short chapters...very digestable.2.
