the first real classics party at sf. not the one where jp had a tantrum and stopped playing them early. slept till 3:30am, got up, dressed, had a 2 beers at my apt. got there around 5am stayed till 3:30pm. 100ct sober - hearing all the classics was all i needed to keep me going. that and the company of great girl, who is always sober and full of energy. we kept feeding off each other the whole time. could have stayed longer, but my old knees were killing me. 10 hours of pretty much non stop dancing. that was several yrs ago. i couldn't stay out that long now, drunk, sober, or on any sort or substance. my aching bones can't handle it.

nothing ever wrong from talking to someone about them harming themselves. just don't expect them to act on it. as with most things, they have to want to quit. even with smoking, friends, my gf all were on me for a while about quitting. i heard them but wasn't ready to quit. eventually i did. obviously we're dealing with a much more addictive substance when dealing with heroine but same principal holds - they have to want to stop. theres always "THE INTERVENTION"....

its a great thing. i know seaside and lbi are apples and oranges but the bars in lbi will not charge you for a soda or water if you are a dd. sometimes you need to mention it but there is never an argument if you say that you are the driver. nothing worse then asking for a soda b/c you're driving and getting whacked 3-5 bucks for something that on a volume basis probably costs the bar 2 cents...

amen!!! i tend to post more regularly on ncc (under a different name) since they seem a little older and more together then some of the wrecks on here these days. when i first signed up here, there was a different "crowd", much more chill. i rarely go out these days in my old age but still like to keep on top of the scene and whats going on in it. I'll pop up on here from time to time to offer my advice or put someone in their place that needs a reality check.
