as for my fears: being alone being broke never finding dependable happiness not having love in my life losing my friends/not finding trustworthy ones and i'm not scared of dying at all; i'm scared of living too long.

i think crows are nothing short of gorgeous. there's just something so perfect in their being solid black - not showy, just simple - yet making a great impact. but i like birds in general; i've just gotten into them over the past year or 2 - don't know why.

a friend of my mom's was in a relationship with someone for nine years; they just broke up because she wants kids and he doesn't. that was the only problem in their relationship . i'd hate to think that i'd have to lose who i think is my perfect mate, just 'cause we don't agree on the idea of children, so i'd discuss it very early on in the relationship, before it got too serious. who wants kids someday and who doesn't?

wow , magellanmax, you've got a long list for someone who's only been posting since november ! i'm impressed . and i'll say that magellanmax: says his peace and is usually very detailed and specific (as opposed to just saying, "lol" or being wishy-washy on anything), but is humble enough to admit that his opinion isn't fact (i.e. "just ma opinion; don't make it rite ."); we could use more of that around these parts . can i say, "down-to-earth" one more time ? and nobody's mentioned spragga's foot fetish!

phuturephunk: hasn't been around in a long time . his posts were very down-to-earth, and he only posted when he actually had something interesting/important/intelligent to add to a thread. his angry side did come out every once in a while , but he mostly kept that to another screenname . come back, phuturephunk !!! wideskies: another down-to-earther on the board who's m.i.a. she was controversial in that she didn't conform to most of the norms on the sex board (though sometimes those characteristics were more common in the rest of the world). she shrugged off being called moronic nicknames (i.e. "wombat"), and used a lot of vocabulary and literary references that went over people's heads . sassa: is proudly strongly opinionated. whether in the majority or the minority (usually the latter ), she'll talk tough about any subject. and if she doesn't like someone, that person'll know it. once again, down-to-earth, and her posts are based on facts, not conjecture (sassa doesn't talk out of her ass). (more later, maybe)

that surprises me, gabo, since you're such an ass-fan . (seriously; i'm not joking or trying to be mean.) you don't let anything go on in that area (not necessarily something large)?

asking strangers/people to whom one is not close for advice is fine, but it's important to remember that most of these people will not know nor fully understand one's past, and this is crucial to making whatever decision is in question. (also, this decision is not theirs to make.) this advice is best taken merely as opinions, never as orders . tune in tomorrow.

i hear both of you, even though you both said very different things . an old guy came into the camera store at which i work 2 days in a row, and i think he must've been sent by the devil, or corporate, 'cause he was trying my patience so hard ... he was trying to explain to me how photography works. "the shutter in the camera opens for a length of time and exposes the film..." and he felt the need to tell a long, LOUD version of this. i tried to interject that i know how a camera works, but he seemed to want to make a speech about this, somewhere, anywhere :mad: . just nod, i told myself, he might just leave you alone if you don't say anything.

i just saw the scumfrog a couple of weeks ago; he rocked !!! if anyone gets the chance to see him, i highly recommend it.
