it's bad enough that there are so many layoffs all over the place, but this is the highest holiday of the year, for me at least. i couldn't imagine losing my job today. your company is evil. luck to you and my condolences to your fallen co-workers.

i'm coming home to ny for thanksgiving, and that's helped solve my "where do i go for my short time in ny?" question. i can't afford my plane ticket all else that goes along with staying in ny and that admission price. don't forget all of the rest of the money that we spend on nights when we go out (drinks, etc.). $56.50 is ridiculous and i would like to say that i'm not going solely on principle - not that it's actually that and that i'm broke. well, danny cancelled his west coast tour (he was supposed to be in l.a. on halloween), so i was thinking of seeing him anyway. anybody know how much his gig'll be?

i just downloaded some x-dream from audiogalaxy and i'm getting all wistful . i miss my favorite - space girl - so very much, and i can't even find any david hollands or dj heaven (well, i only saw them once each, but they rocked my world) on the web. and will dj funk ever come out this way? the rave djs and the scene are so different out here... i want my djs back!!! :cry:

but i never go anyplace that doesn't let me wear sneakers, all my pants are crazy, and i've been to both spundae and giant. it may depend on the night, though... just check out the particular event when you buy your ticket - that's my advice .

giant and spundae are the big clubs out here; deep dish are playing an 8-hour set at giant on the 3rd of november for $27. l.a. clubs don't stay open as late as nyc's, so i'm looking forward to staying out till 8 at a non-afterhours! sasha and digweed are coming out sometime soon, too, but their tix are way too expensive for my poor ass (check out msbobois's thread) and may be sold out already... check out groovetickets.com and massivetickets.com ; they tell you what's up in a variety of circles.
