depends on the situation...you're all only saying the bank robber ain't so bad cause the money is insured. what if they were stealing from an uninsured credit union or somethinng like that? lots of white collar is companies stealing from other companies and not affecting people like you and me. obviously, the people in the news right now deserve some serious punishment though. of course if you want to hear seriously fucked up...check out all the government officials who get tons of shit and money from lobeyists and then pass laws and stuff that affect all of us. that shit is criminal too. bottom line is power and money are selfish pursuits for the most part. there are VERY few people who have either who give a shit about people like us...they really only care about image, more power and more money. none of this stuff comes as any surprise to me. and the legislators that thought up these nice complicated tax and corporation laws that allow this shit to happen suck ass too. there is no reason why we can't have more simple laws about this.

see...the mountains are def. the way to go seriously, if that happened to you all the time you'd wear gloves. imagine having to deal with that every day? i'm sure at first you would say stuff to people. but then after a while you'd realize that there is no good way to explain to people how you know these things. and then you'd either have to dedicate your life to trying to save people or just move on. btw...as for the morality of affected future events - much less impact if you save joe schmo on the street than a senator or something. personally, i'd try to figure out how to parlay the whole thing into some major lottery winnings and then retire somewhere that i only need to touch people when i want to

I've been in a small club when it got raided. They made everyone turn and face the wall and then they searched anyone they wanted. the amount of crap i saw on the ground on my way out coulda kept me in rent for half a year.... the cops were all business like and relatively respectful unless they found something on you or you didn't follow their instructions. as for SF - seen cops and firemen in there all the time. in general, the amount of heat a place gets has more to do with politics then anything else....i've heard plenty of stories of people getting picked up OUTSIDE SF on their way out or way in when street and UC cops say them reaching into pockets and stuff.

no...you'd be spending your whole life running around doing that - there are lots of people in danger every day. now, if it was someone you truly cared about - maybe of course, if you could really tell the future you would probably pick up and go live up in the mountains all alone cause it would be damn annoying otherwise (and the gov't would pick you up of course to help them out with stuff).

yeah seriously: i mean the ONLY way that people can make you go to the hospital is if they are SERIOUSLY concerned for your well being and you are incapable of making decisions for yourself. you def should not have gotten in the ambulance or gone to the hospital. you say "NO". when they accuse you of taking drugs you say "NO" when they try to take your blood you say "NO". as for waiting for the bill - big mistake. write down everything you remember (and i hope its alot) including the security guys names, the ambulance number, the doctors name, how you were handled, etc. and write a letter to PNC immediately stating how you are very disatisfied and intend to try to recover the hospital and ambulance bills. you'd be surprised how promtness is very important when it comes to legal claims as are paper records of what happened. the problem with all this is that unless you are retardedly fucked up and they judge that they are basically saving your life (in which case you will never recover anything) they cannot take you to a hospital without your permission and they certaintly can't take blood or anything else. so you must have said "YES" and agreed - in which case your fucked.

well, i don't think i saw any of you, but: thought it was a great event (except the rain of course, but what can you do).. ...how cool was it that the tent had AC? very nice. i just danced non stop from the beginning of tiesto's set until they closed the tent. bummer about Cox, but i've seen him before and it had been a long day already (part of it in the hot sun). Tiesto was pretty good - not his best set i didn't think - especially toward the end. But Diggers was great - really nice selections and kept building. Tiesto played a lot of great tracks but i didn't feel that he had a whole plan so to speak. anyways - i head that they repopened the tent around 9:30 - but i didn't stick around. was chillin with some old schoolers: siagray, loch, orchid, mysteriouss, dana, theory, sky overdrive, rollin - FUCKING GREAT HANGING WITH YOU AS USUAL! peace
