The Wanttickets site has added Above & Beyond, BT, and Little Louie Vega to the Friday Nikki Beach Party and they've reaised the prices to 35.00 instead of 30.00

Spundae @ Circus closes at 4 am and serves food at the club which is great! Avalon on Saturday nights features after hour power which goes past 9 am Club Naked @ Grand goes until 7 am on fridays Stick to your hip hop buddy, electronic music is doing just fine in LA. Rubber also goes late...

WetGrooves will have their beach party during the day at Nikki's, but its 30.00 cover and will have Filo & Peri among others... Couple porn stars hosting like last year. As for friday night, it's not 100% official yet but Paul Van Dyk & Sander Kleinenberg at Space (Sander doing his usual rooftop session). Satoshi Tomiie & Hector Romero have a party that night also (forgot where, look it up yourself on wanttickets).

NYE is always overrated, but for the dance music genre, there's no question where you should be for new years. LV & LA have the following DJ's for the 30th-1st.... Paul Van Dyk Tiesto Sander Kleinenberg John Digweed Matt Darey John OO Fleming Gabriel & Dresden Markus Schulz Judge Jules Crystal Method Steve Lawler Not bad... compared to NY. Paul Oakenfold Steve Lawler Carl Cox (sorry Jonathan Peters & Victor Calderone do NOT count...)

Couple afterhours gig's have been announced, and I don't see it here on the site. Club Rubber is doing afterhours at Mandalay Bay for 30.00 featuring Matt Darey (typical after hours for the Tiesto group). 75.00 for VIP. Spundae is also throwing an after hours party at the Grand Ballroom on LV Blvd, with Judge Jules headlining. Both are affordable, and the lineups aren't half bad for after hours (Darey is going to be tough to pass up on!)

Not sure about which night is hot per se, but we'll be there as well. Rain/Ghostbar is good Tao Pure Those are three better clubs "bigger venues" Tangerine, Light, and Mix are the better lounges. Depends on your style. Big, bold, and loud, or chill mellow and intimate. Our plans... Thurs - Rain or Pure Fri - Ice for PVD Sat - Tao maybe Club Rubber for after hours.

sellout? Nah.... oakenfold's the sell out... but in all fairness that's how you make money. So really it comes back to the basics. Can you drop great tracks or spin... Oakie still does. (not spin) Tiesto hasn't lately. i wonder if i'll check this out or not. And PVD was #1 a couple years ago, he's no longer #1 (DJ mag lags a couple years... i mean c'mon tiesto hasn't been #1 for awhile either)... And again does it really matter? They're all damn good!

Just wanted to know... It says Marc Stylz is spinnin in the lounge. If so, what kind of music does he play and will they just play the main room music in that room for PVD? I have some girls that want to come but only if they play hip hop... Thanks a bunch.

lol, i know i know... but you could say that about 90% of the clubs in vegas...lol. Since New years gets ridiculous and i have a large group of "varying income" i need to find a fine line between maximizing the group that can make it, and a "decent" place. Personally I don't mind getting a skybox at rain, but some of my other friends probably won't fork over a $200.00 cover just to get in.

Rio has $600 listed, and I think Ra is at $700 for Table Service. That's not too bad for four-six people. $100 for just admission $150 for admission & a bottle... (or do I have that wrong?)

Pure is 200 just to get in (ridiculous)... The parties are being listed, and like most have said prices range from 100-200. The second rate clubs (which are probably third tier now) may charge 75.00... i have a big group coming but not everyone can afford those prices. I'd like to get table service too (for the few that can pay). Picking a place with affordability is going to be tough. Last year wasn't so bad, we partied hard the night before, and then just did the street thing on NYE, but I was itching to go out later...

I'm tryin to set up a big group comin to vegas for new years, and already stoked... I guess it'll be November until they start listing parties? Just wanted to know a ballpark figure for VIP/Table service at the various joints (Pure, ICE, Rain, Ra, Tao, etc...) Probably hitting up PVD at Ice on the 30th, and then we'll see for NYE (yes I know Giant/LA is better, but we're doin vegas this year)

That was truly an amazing experience. I loved it so much, I'm actually lookin up flights to LA for tomorrow's set, and if not, then definitely Boston - Avalon... AVB WHORE!!! When he gets hard, it depends on how much in the tank i've got left, b/c when he comes back down, its still great. I was surprised how packed the place was...

FU.. That was the best sh... I've heard in a long time. I'm so glad I went tonight. I ended up eating two tickets, but I don't care Armin was on point, and the place was jam packed. P Diddy made a cameo which got the crowd excited... Some great tracks heard live (which is always grand!) G&D & AVB - Zocalo G&D & Markus Schulz - Without You Near AVB - Shivers (some remix) -- This one was obvious! Bart Claessen - Playmo were some of the tracks I picked up on. There was a U2 remix (where the streets have no name) that I liked. Interesting to see New Order - Confusion in there, although the crowd definitely wasn't feeling it. Not sure if he dropped Randy Katana - Pleasure Island... maybe he did after I left. But great nonetheless. I guess my butt is going to Boston in a couple weeks.

23 and old? I guess I've learned it all depends on the person. Some start early and finish early, some start late and finish late, some continue throughout. I didn't touch alcohol until I was 25... I'm 30 now, and still hitting up the big dance clubs (armin tonight baby), unfortunately the clubbing scene in NY is 18+ which means 16+... in other places its 21+ so its not that much of a difference. It depends on the person. And what's wrong with dressing up and buying expensive drinks? Dress shirts, slacks, expensive stuff all of a sudden isn't "cool" anymore? Now that's comical. I'll ask the local bum on the street where he got his threads, next time.
