I predict the Subliminal party at Space will be off the charts. Other highlights will be Carl Cox at Crobar, the A/X-Cielo party, Hallucination and DH at BED. Throw Burridge at BED in there too.

I am pretty sure Godskitchen has one night at Mansion. I am not sure which night that is though.

This is my first WMC as well, and I have loaded up on the pre-sales. I bought tickets for Subliminal, Meganite, Carl Cox, the Roam party at the Townhouse, Proton and the OM party at Mansion. Doing this will definitely save money. I listen to my friends when they say it could cost double at the door, with a long wait.

I picked up my ticket today. See you there.

I caught one of Sasha's residency gigs at Avalon Hollywood, and it was pretty good. He does a lot of experimenting with his new setup, so I would say his sets right now are only for the heads. He's still getting the hang of it too, so if he screws up, well, that's why.

That is correct. His name is Ivan Kane I believe. Forty Deuce has been doing very well. By all appearances, they don't need to promote, and are probably better off not doing so. Word is out, but the place is small. They get a great crowd, but don't have a line into the casino, which is something they would have if they started running full page glossy ads in the Las Vegas Weekly.

I am really amped to finally hear Mazi.

It's not the nicest club in the world, but the vibe and sound system more than make up for its aesthetic shortcomings. When I went there, there were people dancing on the bar, dancing on the speakers, and it really was a very good time. The place wasn't jampacked, but the crowd was big, and everyone was having a lot of fun. It was Cooljunkie's 4th anniversary party. I mean, Pete Tong was playing, and I still had a blast.

I'm paying $145/night at the Kent.

I am seriously considering RSVPing for this party. Steve Porter rocks.

You're damn right I will be. That's my #1 party of the week out of all the ones I've seen so far.

I would be very concerned about the quality of a hotel that is only getting $60/night during the biggest week of the year.

I consider the Cooljunkie list to be very reliable. As far as I know, Vibe is indeed confirmed to play with Carl Cox at Crobar on Saturday night. That has to be considered one of the top parties of the week.

I recommend: lounge- Mix on Friday club - Ice on Saturday, and if you're so inclined, stop by Drai's or AM for afterhours.

Perhaps not, but he is pretty damn good. His gigs are always entertaining, and fun as hell. That's what going to a club is all about.
