I have an opinion: Their promotion is on life support. They run an ad in the Las Vegas Weekly, a nice glossy ad, but it doesn't say anything about the club. It has a pic, and says they're open Friday and Saturday. Um, thanks. Why don't they tell us what exactly is going on those nights? Tell is what genres of music will be the focus of each night? Tell us what the cover charge is, tell us the dresscode, etc. That club is not the Field of Dreams, build it and they will come. Give us something to be excited about. Seriously, with all that is going on in this town, they risk being forgotten. I live here, and I almost forget about them all the time when telling people about the clubs here. Get on it people!

Well, for anyone who has never been to the Tropicana pool, but wanted to go, you may have missed your chance. It's possible the hotel will be open next year, but it will be reduced to rubble soon, to be replaced by something that can actually compete in today's Las Vegas.

It sounds like a good festival, but whoever came up with the name needs to be relieved of their duties, because that name sucks. These same people also have a music festival in Tennessee with an equally ridiculous name.

Wynn Las Vegas is awesome, it is just different than the other big places in town, which is why a lot of people don't know what to make of it. It seems a lot smaller, and is much less hectic, than a lot of the other places, which throws people off. I've stayed there though, and IMO it's nicer than every other big hotel in town not named Bellagio. I would say it's on par with Bellagio as far as amenities, although it is not nearly as "in your face" as Bellagio is. It does improve on Bellagio in several areas though. Some people I know still prefer Bellagio, but I think Wynn is tops. Think of it as the world's largest Ritz Carlton.

Um, seriously, what kind of a night out is that? Why would you go to five places in one night? Do you feel there is some sort of scene you have to keep up with?

They wouldn't get away with a door policy like that here. They'd be empty, and Venetian mgmt. would rip them a new one.

The Las Vegas version is going to have a nightclub in it, separate from the rest of the venue, instead of a restaurant that tries to be a nightclub later in the evening.

The owner, Rick Rizzolo, is being investigated for involvement with organized crime.

They're coming, but not for awhile. The club is going to be at the Aladdin/Planet Hollywood, but renovations additions to that hotel, which will include construction of the club, will not be starting until late this year or next year.

I agree, that is pretty weak. Then again, Ice's lineups on holiday weekends are never really that great, save Deep Dish on Memorial weekend. Booking Oakey twice is beyond lame though.
