  2. Crobar; based on the fact that they bring in better talent on a consistent basis.
  3. Festivus is an outdoor event; wouldn't make sense to have it in December.
  4. I know of a remix by Brooklyn Avenue and another by DJ Sted-E and Ray Roc Maybe it's one of those?
  5. Nope; there was a weak opener and Sander came on around 2
  6. Yeah, he played "This is New York"......I guess that's the name of the track. Night was ok overall. I got there early and left around 5:30. I didn't like that they had Sander in the upper DJ booth. I like it much better when he's on the stage. Being that I'm a big Sander fan, I have to say that I was kinda disappointed w/ the set that he played last night. I've heard much better from him in the past. Either way, I'll be at his next party; I'm sure it will be a great night.
  7. It's all good; I'm expecting good things from Sander tonight. He was great @ WMC, so hopefully we'll hear more of the same.
  8. 2 of my fav. DJs playing at the same place. I'm there.
  9. 1. GTI 2. GTI 2005 3. GTI vs. Kemical 4. GTI w/ My Love is Your Love Acca 5. GTI vs. Boots
  10. I figured I'd post a few pics from an actual JP party to let you know what you can expect as far as the crowd goes. Have fun!!!
  11. I'm not going to list 30 different tracks to try and make the point that his music sucks. And the fact that you think 5 tracks = 20 to 30 minutes of music for JP shows that you have no clue that he tends to loop shit for a really long time. The worst of his music are probably his own productions which you know are bad since no other djs ever play them. I'm talking about GTI, Excuse Me Senor, In Your Eyes, etc. etc. He could throw on a f'n Louie DeVito Megamix and the JP crowd would say that it was awesome. Fact is that his music has steadily gone downhill over the past 5 years. Ask any old JP/SF fan and they will agree w/ you.
  12. JP can loop one track for like 30 mins., so your logic doesn't make much sense.
  13. Ok, so why don't you list some of these great tracks that JP plays? Last I heard, he was playing the same junk he always plays (Women Beat Their Men, Kemical, Deep Throat, In Your Eyes, Let the Sunshine In, GTI, etc. etc.) Can you honestly say that it's worth $50 to hear that music when you can got and see DJs who are much more talented for half that price? F'n Sasha and Digweed was $50, and they are two of the most talented and famous DJs in the world. JP is a local talent whose living off his glory days which were over about 5 years ago.
  14. You guys should get there as early as possible. Leave yourself enough time to party before it gets raided.
  15. Good stuff. Let's hope Avalon keeps this up.
  16. As much as I think WH sucks, the place is successful, and has been for many years; so you can't really say that no one goes there.
