And dont forget to mention GIANT VILLAGE this last Jan., 4 blocks in downtown, I know head count was in the 5 digit range, and it was awsomely orchestrated. Talent was "The Killers" Paul Oakenfold, and John Digweed to name a few. I had a blast, but then I always do when it comes to GIANT!!!

Anybody going tonight? I was unable to get online tickets and my guestlist hookup wasnt able to offer any privledges tonight. So I am debating waiting in line vs. will I get in? Or should I just head over to GIANT for Steve Lawler? Anyone have an opinion?

Weed and many of the other "party favors" do fudge with your "brain chemistry".Not to mention if you've been doing anything for any length of time, it is really messing with your head, and who knows if that damage is reversable. But I do understand the reluctance to get involved with anti depressants. And little side note tricyclics (a form of anti depressants) sometimes are prescribed for such things as insomnia and migraines.

Not to mention alot of times if you make puchases with your debit card, they cant protect you the same way a credit card would. ie.. I bought tickets to a paul van dyk show out here a few years ago, I puchased with my debit card. Well they ended up changing the show time to 2am, when I tried to file a claim to get my money back, my bank couldnt help me very much, they suggested that I make all my future buys with my credit card. I just lucked out that Groove gave money back that time.

Well I cant quite figure out if the date has been decided, but If votes are still being collected, I am out of town the weekend of the 11th, so If possible I would like the 18th better.

Oh my yes, we went the Sat. that Tiesto was in town. I thought why not, I can get on the list, and Grant Plant gives up a good show. But Oh my god... I didnt know they had remodeled. I thought it was great. I am really looking forward to what they can do with that place now.

Spider Club- Wednesdays Me and a few of my girlfriends went last Wed. We got on the list thanks to Clubplanet. Arrived at 10:30, very nice hospitable peeps at the door. Got in no problem. Headed up the stairs and right away was very impressed by the decor, it really felt like a spider cocoon in there. I love the lighting. Very comfy lounge. Excellent place to go have drinks and still be able to communicate without screaming in their ears. Music was hip hop and a little mix up of 80's/indie, but mostly hip hop. Good crowd, nice vibe. I was however, very surprised when they called last call and turned oh the lights at the same time. Club pretty much over at 0145 only sad part.

I agree, Coronas suck. I think the last time that beer tasted any good was way back in 1997. If you like beer with lemon in it Hefeweisen ( I know I cant spell it) is really good.

I would not expect to get in free holiday weekends. Instead treat it as a line pass, but be prepared to spread the cash for tables and such, that will always make the night go smoothly. Holidays are just not the days to expect freebies, those are days to live life like a rockstar baby! All the same good luck and have fun.

It is tempting, cause ya know everybody will be there. but I am with you weyes, too much money. Digweed is my trance god and I have never paid that much to see him. So $ is my first neg. and if there isnt a clear answer on if there is going to be a dance floor I say F**k that, I need to dance and for $60 it shouldnt be in the middle of chairs. Well if its Sunday night (after 7pm) or Monday I think I can work something out. Friday and Saturday are definitely out for me,otherwise any day is good as long as it is after 7pm.

First off Welcome!, I hope that your experience here will be a positive one. If you take some time and read through the threads, I know there is some groovy house stuff that goes down during the week. My personal favorites to hit these days are "Heaven" at the Vangard on Friday nights, and like you mentioned "Giant" at Avalon on Sat.'s. Good luck to ya!
